Brutal schedule. Especially the first half. I’m thinking 28 wins.

Apparently ours isn't too bad, at least from preseason predictions.

I think we do pretty good this year and end up with 6-8 seed.

We should sweep Atlanta, Phoenix, Memphis, Dallas, L.A. Clippers, Sacramento

We should win series over Charlotte, New York, Brooklyn, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit

That's 32 wins right there. I expect a let down in a few of those games, but given the improvement of Isaac, Gordon and coach who can limit turnovers and get them to play defense...I'd say we are looking at 43-47 wins.

6th seed in the East with this cake walk schedule and AG looking like he may have learned how to dribble this summer

It's really not a bad schedule. The 2 6 game road trips in 2018 are going to be tough, but there are winnable games there. It could also just bury the morale of the team if they flail early on.

Non of it, but Hawks is given.
Actually Memphis team with 2 allstars is clearly better team.

Don't know how you can expect so much dominance from team that is finishing top 8 worst for almost decade now and who added literally nobody in free agency but bunch of third stringers.

Do i expect improvment? Yes. But in same time why should anybody belive this team is any better than Dallas, Hornets, Pistons ?
Based on what? Pistons and Hornets at least have clear allstars on their rosters and they know they will get 20 points from them on any given night.

It will take massive internal growth ,luck with own injuries and luck with opponents injuries , crazy good caoching and great individual performance from every rotation player to sniff anywhere near 40 wins.
Problem, however, is that this roster or coach ever showed any signs of it. Pretty sure that Dj, Ross and Simmons are only players that ever played on .500+ teams , ironically they never were starters.

We aren't going anywhere close to the playoffs and that's a good thing. Maybe we can finally draft a great point guard. Someone will eventually rise through the draft ranks

I mean there is always chance to get to 8# seed, sometimes 38 wins is enough and there are lot of medicore teams on East to make it possible but based on current roster and additions in offseason it's hard to expect from Magic to be much better than teams like Hornets, Pistons, Knicks, Bulls.

They are like Bulls, roster with lot of youth ( Bamba, Isaac, Gordon ) - ( Lauri, Parker, Lavine, Carter ) where things can go great, but there is aslo real chance that team combusts after 20 game, especially late in November when they hit a road against: Lakers, Nuggets, Warriors, Blazers, Suns ,Heat , just to play Nuggets and Pacers.

That type of schedule could swing season into early focus on draft.

In general November's schedule is disaster . Knicks on the road, back to back to Wizards on the road, going home to play Philly and Lakers. :nonono:

You make it sound like this team can't beat anyone, but the hawks. Suns, Nuggets, Knick and Lakers are going to cause us to abandon playoffs in November and focus on draft? Really?

It's hard schedule, be ignorant if you like it, don't really care.
Wizards, Philly, Lakers, Nuggets are clerly better tems, facing them within 2-3 weeks ,after hard start of season won't help.
Just like all of us knew last year that November will make or break season. 9 Ls in a row shifted everything into one sided road.
