If it was a year where we were considered to be East contenders, it would be very risky to deploy the BIG lineup, but based on the numbers posted earlier - if the BIG unit is able to generate offense (to me this means AG is getting 18-20 a game, JI is giving us 12-16, Bamba around 10 if he gets 25 mins) they may be able to hold teams to around 100 points and score 102-104.

Short term with the Magic probable for V. I. G. as the front court, it will be interesting to see how many wins come in the first 20 games. If the Magic is over 50%, this will be an interesting management decision for the Brass to consider. But if it is not working, not only is Vučević traded so Bamba can start, but this implies that Isaac and Gordon did not mesh and either Isaac is pushed to the bench or he is traded.

Frankly Gordon is nearly untraceable at this point, given how favourable his contract is moving towards a FA push next off season and the one after that.

False. His contract was structured so that he could be moved. Isaac will be given more of a leash because he hasn’t even played half a season in the nba. Rarely are players moved after only a few seasons, on a rookie contract, and under the same GM.

Gordon is the most movable if he can’t provide offense next to Isaac and Bamba. The defense will be there for those guys. Offensive production shouldn’t be a mystery from a guy 5 years into the league when it’s needed so badly from that position in the lineup.

Agree with all of the above. Id be stunned if the magic traded JI so fast. Especially with his potential next to Bamba and that he appears to have an elite defensive ceiling.

AG also has a very tradable contract and was already shopped last season so the FO could guage his market value.

I really hope that the BIG experiment shows a lot of fruit... as i think those 3 would be impressive with one another.BUT i agree.... JI + Bamba is the Core of those 3 and if someone is moved for improved chemistry/fit.... it will be gordon. Would hate to see him go.... but he would be the odd man out.

Goodness to heck: I really hope Isaac and Gordon combine as the new vision of forwards. It really simplifies this for us fans.
