I'm just saying just because someone did good things for a sports team does not mean everyone has to think they were good people and everyone has to respect them.

He made his fortune by using false promises to pillage the life savings of desperate people. That's the reality of it. Lionize him if you want to, but some people are going to take exception to it.

Let's move on before this gets heated again. Rich wasn't perfect and his legacy can be debated at another time, let's leave this thread for news and paying respect to the departed (if you wish to do so).

today is definitely not a good day... 9/11 plus recent news of Rich DeVos. Salute to his legacy. May him rest in peace
