If you're that confident, would you be willing to make a bet on it?

I'll gladly bet you that Magic win more games this season than they did last season. Not only that, I'm willing to bet you that the Magic hit their over which would be at least a 7 win improvement from the 25 they won a year ago.

We don't have to bet money if you're not comfortable with that. You can pick the terms.

I thought you were going away.

Nobody in Indiana was celebrating the Paul George trade. Good for Victor for completely "growing up" his game last year but nobody NOBODY saw it coming, especially when you examine his time in ORl and OKC. I don't think Isaac or Gordon making a jump would be any more shocking. If Bamba contributes in any significant way (i said IF but he's not unlikely to contribute, on the defensive end, at least), it will be like having two top picks coming in with Isaac and Bamba ready to contribute. Fournier could easily bust out offensively if AG settles into a more solid, under control, offensive game...Last year AG went crazy on offense, he was forcing it, making bad decisions, showing flashes, but immature...ironically, it kind of reminded me of ORL Vic. Additionally, there were an immense number of total games lost to injury. Isaac may not have been physically "ready" but that's not why he twisted his ankle. There are SO many things that went wrong last year, if a lot of them go right, I don't see it being shocking if the Magic win 42. Would I bet on it? No. Would anyone smart have bet on Vic and Indy last summer? No...Realistically, I expect 35 wins with AG getting some All-Star consideration in a weak East and with Bamba playing progressively more through the season.

I completely agree. And that’s what makes it interesting considering the Pacers were ranked(last season) exactly where are today.

Betting over 34 wins for Pacers was easiest money ever, even without Oladipo breakout year. I think i said that few times before start of last season.
I didn't expect to Oladipo will break out like this but i thought that Turner ,Young, Bogdanovic will be good enough to give them some wins and Oladipo will be 18-19 ppg scorer. Guys like Collison, Joseph, Jefferson were all proven nba vets as well.

I don't know if I agree with you or not, mostly because it's easy to look back and say that something was easy to predict, but I think it's interesting that if those five guys were on this Magic team, they would be getting hated on like Vooch and Fournier do.
