Based on last season, the offseason and preseason so far what is there to be optimistic about for the coming season?

If we rely on Vuc and Fournier and Simmons all season it’s going to be one of the lowest points in Magic history. Another season of no hope might be unbearable for this fan base.

To generate excitement we need to see more of Isaac, Bamba and AG. The team has to not only sell us on the future but show us the future

But even those guys haven't created much optimism so far in preseason:
- Issac hurt again (same issue)
- Gordon seems to have the same limitations as last season (where was the progress over the summer so far?)
- Bamba seems very raw and not physically ready for the grind (unlike Ayton, Carter and JJJ)
- New coach hasn't run any new interesting schemes or wrinkles to generate easy offense

It's never too early. I'm more excited to watch college basketball than I am for the start of our own season. This is just another rinse and repeat year for us (bringing back the same starters, similar head coach, no point guard/playmaker) like the previous two years and I'm still focused on and expecting a top 6 pick.

You guys heard what Jimmy Butler did to the Wolves? Took their 3rd stringers and shoved their starters especially KAT and Wiggins down their throats?

I think we definitely need him to change our culture up. LOL

Butler would make Vuc retire in one practice.

I don't know if this is sarcastic or not...

But honestly, Jimmy's mentality is exactly what is missing from this team of softies who don't know how to fight hard for something.

I love Jimmy Butler here. Even for one season it would be fun to see how our young guys do with a star wing out there. Especially a guy with serious fire about the game.

In my mind this has always been a tank season for us. I believe it is our last year of torture before we get things turning around here.

Problem with this is that the coaches and players think they should be winning.

That's why WeHam has to flip the roster to create a tank team. They need to dump DJ, Vuc and Evan already. The evaluation season is over. So do something.

Give all the minutes to Briscoe, Iwundu, Frazier, Gordon, Isaac, Bamba, Birch

Agree. Its just not that easy to move those guys unless you want garbage back. Thats the problem.

I actually am not sure... part of e wants to see thew world burned by throwing Jimmy there and will probably make Evan and our other coasting *vets* cry.

The other is scared that JI and Mo might get scarred for life and requests a trade ASAP
