You know what I find funny? That the Vuc lovers (LOVE that term by the way lol) try to defend him as if he's a superstar worth saving on this team. NO ONE should be free from criticism right now... maybe other than Bamba.

I don't gush over him. I just accept him for what he is just like I accept the team for what it is. It doesn't make sense to blame one or two players for how bad this team is...

Not that I believe that this would have taken off and become standard practice, but so far the "lovers" have only posted hostility in the "haters" thread, while the "haters" have left the "lovers" thread alone (as of this writing). But the haters are the toxic ones?

It is because of this that I will allow these threads to stand for this game only. Normally a single game thread should suffice but it is clear that people get upset when people are negative towards Vuc and vice versa when there are positive things said about him. I want to see where this goes. Hopefully my fellow mods will be cool with this. If things go left quickly, then action will be taken accordingly.

I would be shocked if HowardMass would approve something like this. This is the most divisive thing I've ever seen on this sub. Separating fans over ONE player? Fans telling other fans where to post? DISGUSTING. What about the people who don't have an agenda and just accept the team isn't good? How about people just stop acting insane? Is this the orlando magic sub or vucevic sub?

I bitched about even JI tonight but no one called me out on it... I was only 'attacked' for calling out Vuc. I criticize everyone but only Evan and Vuc get mob-defended. The only player that doesn't get defended is poor DJ. Everyone thinks he's trash

We just have different opinions on what he is. I don't believe that a player like Vucevic should ever be a focal point of an offense and a top 2 option on any team. I have never once said he is a bad player, but Vuc on this team is entitled and believes that he should be that kind of player. Which is why I want him gone and believe that he should have been gone a long time ago.

Ok, check this out. I don't even post that much anymore because of how bad things have gotten here. And I am far from the most vocal Vucevic critic here. Yes, I am very frustrated that he is still on the team. He's more than worn out his welcome with me, which is why I'm not likely to post "Vuc with a great shot!" or "What a block by big VOOCH!". That's just the way it is. HOWEVER, I have never called out anybody for being Vuc lover or a player fan as has been done to me MANY times when I defended Payton. So a little credit please.

And you may be right that this is divisive. But we are already divided. I'm just sick of the bickering so I tried something.

I have never once said he is a bad player, but Vuc on this team is entitled and believes that he should be that kind of player. Which is why I want him gone and believe that he should have been gone a long time ago.

Vuc isn't even worth defending. He isn't some all-star caliber player. I mean, I wouldn't be a fan of Kevin Love on this team and I would probably criticize his play if he was here but at least he is/was at a certain level of play that would warrant expected defending. Vuc just isn't good enough to defend even if he's 'our best player' as some say.

MagicStarwipe, I appreciate the attempt on your idea as you were just trying to attempt to clean up the banter regarding Vuc in the last game thread. I also understand the concern of other posters who do not like the idea of two separate game threads simply based on one of our most polarizing players on the roster. I do not want to be looked at as a moderator that causes division among each other because that is not my intention whatsoever. I apologize to anyone who did not like these threads stickied. To keep everything on one thread, I will go ahead and lock this one and make the other thread the official game thread for tomorrow. Once again, my apologies.
