I will say I don't care nor follow this much anymore. I watched the game the other night and it seems they really need a player that will consistently attack the basket. Seems like a bunch of bad jump shooters to me.
What *are* these electrolytes? Do you even know?

My God. I can't even....
And posters cry why they don't play together...

Two things.

1- They are the only players that won’t be traded.

2- Orlando deserves EVERY bit of them being ineffective together on the court. This is what happens when you draft these players back to back. Time to commit to their choices going BPA without regard to who is already a part of the roster. I don’t feel bad for them at all and they deserve it blowing up in their faces.

On another note, AG is trash for what he is getting paid. Having games like he did against the Clippers (of all teams) does nothing but decrease his trade value. He should have been traded earlier when Orlando could have tricked teams into buying into his potential. Moving him feels inevitable at this point considering he would at least give the Magic a chance to blow up this roster.
You can't just draft without regard as to who is in the roster. It's been 2 drafts in a row they've supposedly drafted BPA and it's been the same type player. Very tall, long, lanky guys who are considered defenders with potential to improve their offense. We have not addressed our most glaring weaknesses: 3pt shooting, playmaking, passing, dribble penetration, getting to the line, PG, SG, SF play. They've punted on addressing those needs for 2 years and they've been the same needs since WeltHam arrived. They have delayed the 2nd rebuild at least 2 more years by playing it safe and using the evaluation excuse. The league has marginalized bigman and defense yet they still draft like it's 2001. So no they do not inspire confidence and no they should not be allowed to get away with the they just got here excuse and it's not their players excuse.

honestly, if their 2nd round picks were not also following the same wingspan formula, I might have given more credence to the claim that "yeah it's just the case of who is the BPA". but if all of your perceived BPAs look similar, all picks, then this might be more about the fact that you just value certain properties above all else rather than who's best.

This.
Also all 4 picks struggle with basics of nba offense.
I said it during a summer, it's style over substance for Weltman and Hammond.

They wasted 2nd rounders on the same type player. Yes 2nd rounders are a crapshoot but we need guards and they could have taken a flyer on a guard instead of drafting the same long wingspan guys with limited skill. Doesnt show a whole lot of thought or ability to improvise. Doesn't give me confidence in the 2 headed GM. Then you add the whole draft flattened out comment and it's like yea......
