It goes both ways. These back and forth's wouldn't exist if it weren't coming from both sides. Everybody here is free to an opinion... unless that opinion annoys somebody else I guess. Which is bound to happen because everybody sees things differently. If the Orlando Magic franchise got their **** together, there wouldn't be so much discord around here. So blame them

You’d like to think so but I remember the 09/10 runs and people just argued about Stan’s coaching / rotations, Hedo or Vince’s effort level and Otis’ uncanny ability to hand out 4 year contracts to below average role players.

What I have no issues with:

I don't think Knightro favors any sort of lineups we are or aren't putting out there, or any certain strategies we are or aren't running. He'll usually expound on why we are doing certain things, why it makes sense we're doing it with Clifford as our coach, and why a coach like Clifford favors certain players over others/things of that nature. It bothers some people, even me at times (the truth hurts  ), but deep down I know better. It's just the frustration of where this team is heading that really bothers me. The Real Dalic never bothers me either because he cheers for the team but also is objective and can see certain things going on that shouldn't be happening, but is going to root for the team to win or try their best regardless (while probably still hoping certain changes/things happen to the team in the near future). Same with Howard, he roots for the team to win but knows we have a lot of issues and need to change a lot to become a perennial playoff team.

What I do have issues with:

I don't get the "lol salt" posters or posters that actively argue for the status quo/in favor of guys like Vucevic/Fournier over anybody else just because they put up the best numbers on the team. They've had their chances, and they're not "bad" players (they're often the best on the team offensively, at least numbers wise). But if SUPERSTARS can get traded for not getting their team where they should, whether it's fair or not, uber role players like these guys can surely be moved on from after 3-4-5 years of being featured on offense and us being worse for wear because of the strategy. I think people equate wanting to trade them with blaming them for everything, but it's simply the issue of wanting a breath of fresh air, or to see how other players handle different usage rates and looks so that we can start being more critical of them instead of looking at them as mysteries or judging them on the same scale as a veteran who has more opportunity, which isn't fair or smart. It also could be 10x worse, but at least we'll know if we can get to a higher ceiling because of it. It wouldn't be like breaking apart a championship level Magic team (Howard/Meer/Lewis/JJ/Gortat, etc) if we decided to move in that direction.

So again, I just fail to see the logic of some here that want things to continue as is/relish in being "right" (even if it's literally just for one game) if it's the opposite of what we need as a franchise. Other than trolling or being a fan of a player so much that it's hard to objectively look at certain situations, I can't say I understand the logic.

But yeah, that's my vent from this game.

I won't mind the wins, so long as at least one of BIG is earning the Sweater Vest.

That means we are growing.

lol...I can't believe we're actually 4-6 after 10 games. I have no idea what to think right now...but I'm guessing we're still a 25-ish win team. Glad to see Gordon have two big games in a row.

I don't care if you're pissed you're not playing, go celebrate with your team.

This was right when the shot went in. He watched on the jumbotron while everyone else was standing lol. They only showed him for a sec after, but he didn't appear to react at all. Wish there was a fixed bench cam to show what he did for the next 30 secs.... almost hard to believe any player would just sit there the whole time while watching teammates run out. Even mozgov walked out in his suit.

People notice things like this, for an end of bench guy it's not a good look at all. Guys like him get minutes through hustle and attitude and being supportive of the team

It's Post Hennigan Stress Disorder. Get it right.
And I think it's absolutely a thing with a lot of fans right now. Hennigan's failures projected onto Weltman. Lots of opinions/assumptions influenced by stuff from the hennigan era. Very little benefit of the doubt or patience thrown Weltman's way after watching Hennigan mismanage the roster, assets and cap space over 5 years.

He hasn't been viewed as part of our "core" for years. Biyombo signing? Bamba draft? Part of being a core player is not having your team looking to replace you at every turn.

Well that might be premature. He's a rook... a little talk with him could do him some good.

He’s lead the team in usage for rotation players every season since 2013-14. We sure treat him like part of the core.

Yeah, there will always be disagreements. But it wont be quite the war zone that it has become over the last several years

Welcome to rebuilding with projects and no star. If EP and/or AG actually developed faster and broke out and Biz wasn't such a stiff, Vuc would already be gone. As it is now we know Vuc is likely out next season, yet he is still a starter and major focal point this season. Vuc has been serving a purpose for years now with our rebuilding teams despite not being a long-term core player.

Don't blame Vuc for out playing his replacements.
Bamba can take his spot by performance, as it should be.
I wish others were pushed for their playing time like Vuc. Starters and reserves.

Here's a story of me from 6th grade when I was riding the pine. In 7th and 8th grade I was a full time starter, but in 6th grade I was in the "paying my dues" stage. Anyway, during one game, I was sitting there totally zoned out. Next thing I know, my coach is in my face saying, "Next time, GET UP." After a few seconds of bewilderment, I was able to piece together that we had just had a timeout and I hadn't joined the huddle. I was pretty embarrassed. The point of the story is that maybe Frazier just had a similar moment.

Btw my career high was 27, done on two occasions. I didn't track any other stat, because as a 13-14 year old, who cares? I retired after 8th grade. Went out on top.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Return to Orlando Magic
