We can't keep up with the train wrecks in Atlanta, Cleveland and New York anyway in the tanking race unless we get hit by a big injury crisis, we have too many decent vets on the roster and a competent coach.

I am getting sick that at game 15, so-called Magic fans are complaining about wins.

I was complaining about wins until I realized how certain teams were. Seeing those teams trajectories and issues I doubt we'd be able to out tank them.

Philly is now 2-7 on the road. (As a comparison, the Magic has a 3-3 road record).

Elfrid Payton with defense

And consistency. He always plays hard, scores, defends, and makes others around him better. There doesn't seem to be any dog in him at all.

Yes, Simmons is definitely a better player than Elf, but what I was getting at is, if you're a guard who can't shoot and spread the floor, then you're making everything harder on the other teammates. I was huge Elf fan because I love good passing, but came to the realization that a guard who can't shoot is only useful when the ball is in their hands and not conductive to winning basketball

Are people really discussing if Simmons is on Elfrid's level? Simmons had a quiet game against us but come on....

When your team spreads the floor, then Ben doesn't need to. He drives and dishes or finishes. Can also post the mismatches.

Not sure if this has been posted. but.... loved watching his highlights again. Plays are in the post or at the 3point line. Long 2 if need be. He's looking great.
