Regular Season Game 15: Philadelphia 76ers (9-6) at Orlando Magic (6-8)

I am sick of tanking and waiting, this year I am celebrating every win until we have no shot for the playoffs. I'd rather we get swept in the first round than get another 6th or 7th pick, frankly, and we all know this team won't go for a full tank as long as Martins is in charge. We can't keep up with the train wrecks in Atlanta, Cleveland and New York anyway in the tanking race unless we get hit by a big injury crisis, we have too many decent vets on the roster and a competent coach.

I am getting sick that at game 15, so-called Magic fans are complaining about wins.

I was complaining about wins until I realized how certain teams were. Seeing those teams trajectories and issues I doubt we'd be able to out tank them.

Can a Ben Simmons fan, either from a Magic fan or a Sixers lurker, can someone tell me why he's so hyped? I never had the Sixers high on the list cause I felt that Embiid was on his own, now he has Butler, but I just can't get behind Simmons if he doesn't even attempt a shot outside of 5 feet.

Yes, Simmons is definitely a better player than Elf, but what I was getting at is, if you're a guard who can't shoot and spread the floor, then you're making everything harder on the other teammates. I was huge Elf fan because I love good passing, but came to the realization that a guard who can't shoot is only useful when the ball is in their hands and not conductive to winning basketball

When your team spreads the floor, then Ben doesn't need to. He drives and dishes or finishes. Can also post the mismatches.
