Great defense specially with JI in the 2nd unit. Bamba was manhandled by Kanter. Will wait for next season when he bulks up. I think our winning is sustainble and fun. Our defense will be the beast in the east.

I've decided to stop putting myself through torture that is watching the Magic as early as last season but are we actually, dare I say it...watchable? Or is this just another fluke start that we'll regret in couple of weeks' time?

The thing that sticks out to me.... are their interviews. First it was AG's halftime interview and then the postgame interviews of vuc and JI.... they are dialed in... and you can tell from their responses that they playing with purpose and direction. Thank you clifford/everyone else for righting this ship and starting to bring respect back to the Magic name! can't wait for the next game.
If you missed it.... here are a couple of them.

Uncle Cliff is doing wonders. But the question is can this Magic team sustain this run for the entire season?
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!

We have beaten some really good team in our latest stretch.
Good signs that we can beat good teams.
Now, if we can take care of teams lower than 500 consistently, we may have a shot at the playoffs.

7 straight games Gordon has been playingnto his strengths. Really good maturity for him. Hopefully this continues.

He is doing much better in not doing too much and focusing on finishing. Although he still has moments when he thinks he can just barge into people and easily gets called for a charge. Doesn't work unless you got a Lebron skill set or your are Shaq.fendilim wrote:7 straight games Gordon has been playingnto his strengths. Really good maturity for him. Hopefully this continues.

Part of this is Gordon has to learn finishing off one foot.

It’s why he has and will continue to make a name for himself defensively - he’s not afraid to be posterized so long as he’s making an effort. Like that block on Embiid - you KNOW Joel would’ve been tweeting that ish all over the place if he dunked that on Issac. But, JI went for it anyways and made a poster of his own and I’m willing to bet got a tiny bit of real estate in Embiid’s head in the process.

Hmm I think Gordon was right after the first win this season. It definitely has a different feel to it this year.

Missed this bc got caught binge watching Making a Murderer 2. Seems like this year's streak is dif from years past hot starts. Hopefully we don't crumble and stop giving a **** once we face adversity.

Whatever side you fall on with Vuc, he can't be denied so far...... You have to at least admit that. When it comes to hate though its fournier and jsimms for me at this point.

Good.
This doesn't surprise me ; as I said on previous topics our game has changed , we are in the mold of something ; our offense has started to come to life and our defense is in place.
We're beating bad teams and not giving up leads...this can be sustainable ,if we can grab few underdog wins here and here ...we might be able to see our long beloved team in the PO's again.
The way we are sharing the ball and playing as a team will get some attention from potential FA's.
Keep it going boys , we deserve it.
