ORLANDO MAGIC thred about Point guards on roster is plagued with comments about guy who is gone.
Crying for Oladipo at least makes some sense, since he is actually really that good.

Even crying about Sabonis and Harris makes more sense than Payton.

It's also interesting that you point to team success as proof that he isn't helping nola, but point to team failure (blantant tanking by Phx) to say he is bad. LOL. (Ugh that breaking up a post ish makes it hard to respond but whatevs.)

Did he help Magic win games?
Did he help Suns win games?
Does he help Pelicans? They had 1 unexpected win and 2 expected wins. And that's your sample size.

Why point out ORacle game? Because that's type of game that has playoff feeling,as first time they match after playoffs .

And i'm "peace of work" when you just switch arguments and have that sarcastic ,snarky attitude that brings zero actual facts, zero actual points and it's 100% focused on semantics over substance.

I hope you enjoyed Payton's 3 games streak, we all know you will , like others, crawl back in hole within 20 days.

We can revisit this topic for month or two, but than nobody will be here like non of you wanted to talk about him during preseason this year or during March of last regular season .

In general talking about him on ORLANDO MAGIC page does not bring anything to the table. Wanna talk about him ? Fine, gtfo to Pelicans page.

Ya gotta admit Elf is playing better now that he has cut his hair!

And if he doesn't play well for his hometown team he's out of the league. I hope he figures it out but honestly glad we've moved on from him because he was hurting our ability to grow.

It's memey to suggest guys that just got waived, but yeah, I'm on board. I actually said to myself a couple weeks ago, "Ya know, he ain't great obviously, but we could use a guy like Isaiah Canaan." And now here he is available for the price of a minimum contract.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Yeah, I've been watching the few game highlights on him, and holy crap, he'd be awesome for ORL. I don't think there is any reason to panic about potentially being 12th-18th in the draft either. I think the Magic could flip that with something to move up for Ja. Only way it gets really hard to make happen is if Ja plays himself into the top 5 I think.

The one thing that the Magic have going in their favor in regards to Morant is that not a lot of teams *need* point guards.

The only other team with a glaring need a PG is Phoenix and they're going to be in the top 5 almost assuredly, so they'll probably go BPA with one of the Duke kids.

I think Morant could fall right into Orlando's lap with like the 10th pick.

I'd also be okay with Garland from Vanderbilt. Looked great before he got hurt. I think Reddish could also be a PG, but will likely be gone before our pick

You know what guys, whether you're a great college player looking to be drafted, young player hoping for a trade in search for playing time, or a free agent point guard, as of now Orlando Magic is your kind of a team.

Point guard will come, no need to panic. Let's focus on winning.
