In my eyes, the Isaac/Gordon pairing to continue to trend upward would be one of most encouraging signs possible for the Magic this season.
My view has been that if they can both 1) hit the three and 2) defend either forward position, then they are a good fit, and any lack of playmaking should be addressed by improving the guard positions.
If they can't hit the three ball, then AG isn't a starter at any position, and Isaac is a center, in which case their ability to play together would be the least of our problems.
