Vučević is an above average scorer and an excellent-to-elite rebounder. He is statistically a good defender, but fails the eye-test to most fans. He is an excellent passer out of the post and a very, very poor rim protector.

His movement is very good and he plays good team offense and has nice spin moves and hook shots. His offensive game is largely below the rim. He has an elite 15-18 jumper and has a 40% 3-ball.

Consistency is good not great. Every 5th game or so, he will have a bad game offensively.

Overall he is today a top-8 Center in the NBA. But his skills, which translates to positive outcomes, is not a fan-friendly game. Even if effective.

Is this not a statement of the excellent defense from Gordon and Isaac on Leonard? And Fournier often rotated to him as well. Frankly I thought the team-oriented scheme against Leonard was correct. I believe that Coach Clifford deserves a cummerbund for his efforts in this game.

Thank you. Sounds like a tough fit for the modern NBA 5. Thanks!
