I have to say that I'm impressed with this win. Down 16pts early on it did not look like it was going to be close because they looked disinterested. In recent years this would have gotten away from us but they chipped away lil by lil and they came out in the 3rd ready and aggressive, specially Fultz. They also got down by 7 twice in the 4th and still found a way to fight back each time. Lots of players had their moments, Ross, AG, Fultz, DJ, Aminu, Vuc in the 4th, but the man was Evan, he was stout thruout the night and got two massive clutch 3s.

Isn't it awesome we can get to the line now? It's what kept us afloat. 3pt shooting is coming around too.

Nope.... I wouldn't mind at all.... Because from what I've seen.... The kid can literally get anywhere he wants to on the court when he wants... And as his confidence continues to grow... And the leash is loosened... Watch out NBA.

I'm feeling confident any time Evan steps up for a 3 these days. Fantastic game from him tonight, he was a steady engine driving the offense any time he was on the court.

Good to see Ross getting that flame on.

Fultz is a monster attacking the rim. The kid goes up so aggressively, then just seems to float whilst he finds a shot to put up with a soft touch.

Gordon looking much better playing off the ball and constantly moving and finding lanes.

Efficiency matters. especially over longer period of time.

Spurs have the worst team in last 15 years and on paper they have 2 allstars.
But both allstars are mid range shooters that hurt them.

Derozan on own team by efficiency stats isn't even top 5 player in any category.

He is actually harmful with pretty bad -6,2 net rating.

Your guard/ wing simply has to shoot 3s to be more effective.

For years Derozan was 17-19 FGA a game, 30% usage rate player that would get his, win some games, and due bad shot selection, choke in playoffs.
And it was during a times when he could fly. Now he is on decline and it shows. Even tonight he hadd their worst +/- of -15.

The Magic was tied with 75 seconds left. To actually win a close game, thank goodness to all that is great !

Clear evidence that it's time to make Aminu the full-time starter and trade JI for some help for our franchise player Evan Fournier.

Feels weird to beat a good time by shooting so many more FTs than them, especially the Spurs, who usually are one of the teams which foul the least. Fultz was great at getting to the rim and forcing them to foul him, and we got quite a few FTs after offensive boards.

As I expected, Aminu played much better with the starters, it's just the kind of player he is. Fantastic game by Evan, his shot looks so much better this year than most of last season and he looks physically better too, which is great to see. He played solid D on DeRozan in the 4th too. Also great to see Ross looking like his best version from last season, he kept us in the game when it looked lost.

Seems it was more like Evan auditioning for Spurs rather than Derozan for the Magic.

Also Vuc loked like a parody of himslef for the most part of the game.Bye bye all star selections.

If we continue to win then someone on this team will be an allstar. Can't be all sixers and celt's.
