31,5% FG
0% for 3
6,7 ppg

Objectively, that's not nba player by any streach of imagination.

If you're using preseason stats to support your argument since his regular season numbers are actually pretty good, you've lost the argument.

He was saying he didn't look like a NBA player in the preseason so using his preseason stats is accurate

Maybe if you could read better you would understand . But hey. can't expect too much.
Bold part,he refered to preseason.

In a thread that is titled "THUS FAR" as in through game 13 (maybe it was game 12 when the thread was started...). Bringing up preseason stats is a failed argument. Reading comp is fine for me. Debate comprehension for you though... not so sure.

Edited to add how preseason came up:

j-ragg wrote:I think if we went back in time and told you over the summer that these have been his minutes in the preseason/season and these are the numbers/percent he has put up, you'd be happy. Maybe not happy but surprised-in-a-good-way. To me, that means his grade should be higher than your C- (even though I thought his grade coming from you would be lower tbh).

And then pepe jumped all over the opportunity to bash Fultz's preseason numbers and completely ignore that his regular season numbers are pretty good.

I think he is trending well and gaining both his own confidence and the coaching staff confidence

Be upfront with this thread..... Ok, sure

How do you guys feel about his "yawning" on the bench and on the floor? - Doesn't bother me. Do you ever yawn at work?

How do you feel about his lack of eneregy/his lack of fire? - His Energy - He charges the basket better than anyone I have seen on this team in recent years

How do you feel about his protocol of walking the ball up to halfcourt and passing it off? - Doesn't bother me

How do you feel about his clank/airballs from the 3 point arc? - Yep, he needs to work on this

This is a guy drafted #1 and Mo Bama was the #6th pick and we had a chance to get Tre Young at #5 - How about we talk about that instead of nitpicking stupid **** that you just listed?

I'm not going to grade him until he's able to make the season and next offseason healthy. I think someone said, he wasn't even able to practice the 3 pt shot during this offseason.

I think he could make a big jump next season if he remains healthy.

Who's Tre Young?

Lol. Nitpicking.

Young was off the board by the time we drafted. He was not available. Regardless of what we could have or should have done to acquire him, Atlanta obviously keyed in on him. Most mocks had him being available for us to at 6.

Remember...Atlanta selected Doncic and then traded back to get Young. So we didn't have a chance of getting him once Atlanta was slotted to pick ahead of us.

I think Clifford is the one that gets a low grade for the way he is handling him. Fultz is basically benched for a lot of the second halves and the final 5 minutes he is an spectator

I think Clifford is handling him well. We have player performance department which is controling these things. Fultz have whole carrier before him, we are not winning chapionship this year.

I’m fine with the minutes restriction. I’m not fine with DJ ‘running the offense’ while Fultz is in the game spotting up for 3... In what world does that make sense?

I dunno if it's a Cliff thing or a Magic thing, but it does seem like a lot of guys on our team throughout the year will go nuts for a half for scoring then never get much usage in the 2nd half.
