Banned for profanity.
Seriously though. If the Magic make the playoffs with four forwards out of action, power to this TEAM.

More disappointed for Jonathan Issac himself, was having a stand out year. I still think in 2 years he’s the face of the franchise, hope he gets healthy soon, but there’s no sense rushing him back to maybe get blasted by the Bucks in round 1. I think we can do that with this bare bones squad.
that rarely happens in the NBA. the face of the franchise is an offensive player. You have Gobert in Utah, but the face is Donavan Mitchell. You have Smart in Boston, face is Tatum/Kemba. GS - Draymond vs Curry. On many teams, the best defensive player is one of the better offensive player too. to me, Isaac falls in more like Gobert-Utah. Unless his offensive hits another gear, he wont be "the face"
Depends how good the best offensive player is. To me Ben Wallace was the face of those great Pistons teams over Billups.

Agreed, you basically need to have a DPOY winner, who isn't any good in terms of scoring. Another name is Dikembe and the Hawks.

Let him take his time to heal. He's the future. I'm in no rush.
It'll make watching the Magic really rough for the next 2 months. He was one of the lone bright spots this season.
I think it would be extremely short-sighted of a front office to base trade decisions around this injury. The front office shouldn't let this injury impact any major roster moves solely to make a half-assed run at the playoffs. The Magic should be thinking long term.
I wonder if its even worth trying for a playoff push?

He's just saying that 8-10 weeks doesn't mean he will be back in 8-10 weeks, it's pure speculation. We won't know if he's done for the season until then.

This team still needs to make a move towards improving the offense in a huge way. This team can't march into playoff contention if the offense continues to struggle like it has been most of the season. Otherwise, what's the point?

I dont think any major change except trading AG is worth it. It doesnt look like Fultz will start to shoot better this season. Our forward rotation is in shambles. Bamba is still not ready yet he is given developmental minutes ( which is a good idea, and starts to work out). It seems like Weltman has a very good relation with Clifford becouse our coach is visibly taking it easy this year. He is focused on development and it was working out with Bamba, Fultz and Isaac. I like our options in the draft. Lets win what we can this year but i doubt we will expend any assets. Signing Fournier to a good deal should be priority if he opts out.
