Some Lowe stats for you. Bamba has been legit on that end for people bagging on his "effort". He just struggles against quicker players/gets lost on defense like all young guys do. I really hate the label of it being effort when he's doing that already. What, would he be 1st in blocks/1st in shots at rim if he cared more in his second year? Come on now.
I agree. He started off this year with low energy and no motor. Something or someone kicked him in the ass and made him flip the switch to actually put forth the effort required to be a special defensive player. He's even doing more offensively then a pick and pop screen just waiting there. He's been great and very active for about 20+ games. Hopefully he keeps it up.
