And considering the players we have right now, the floor spacing was way better for Jameer.

Jameer vs Vuc could be arguable I suppose. As for efficiency they were pretty close as far as TS% and points per shot goes and that's with Jameer being under 6 feet tall. Jameer was past his best and in the home stretch of his career when Dwight left. For the sake of accuracy he was 2nd to 3rd option behind Afflalo and then Tobias.

Notbeing able toget past AA as a 1st option says a lot. Lol if he was that good, he would have been first option.

I would rate Vuc over Jameer as well, but Vuc was also here that same season who averaged the 5th most attempts on the team behind Tobias, Glen Davis, Jameer and JJ. That was the start of his legacy, lol.

Yes vuc wasnt the first option that year either but he was only entering his first year with and was already more efficient than jameer.

Nelson was solid player, but never anything special.
After start of rebuild, his shooting was dog ***t.

Basketball Reference has him listed as the 6th best Magic player all-time. Tough to disagree, he's definitely in that 6-10 range.

He's an awesome person, the **** period he's waded through is worse than anyone (Nick '89-'92), Penny '97-'99, Tracy '00-'04. This team has gone through its bleakest period in our franchise's history. And there's Nik, showing up, Being 17-11 his entire Magic career. He's an All-Star. He's 30 now, and may have his best season coming up '20-'21. Pau was nothing nationally respect wise in Memphis until he became a Laker and competed for titles. Whether Nik will compete for titles here or not, we'll see. But he's still the best player on our team (hopefully Isaac and Fultz ascend) and he's survived multiple front office and coaching regimes.

You can't retire a Jersey when he player ditched or forced his way out of a franchise

If henny wasn't a dick and had kept jameer around, he could have been our first Jersey retired

We can't retire

Shaq dumped us
Tmac forced his way out
D 12 forced his way out
Penny forced his way out

If vuc stays all his career here, his Jersey needs to be retired

He ll end up with most points and boards of the franchise if he does

Where do you place Anderson relative to Vučević in this conversation?

If he hadn't been traded to sac for Tariq and finished his career here, then yes

Yikes that picture, that's what happens when you overthink stuff combined with job security pressure and you forget that your team needs to be good at putting the ball thru the hoop....

On Vuc it's unfortunate that he has been a part of a mismanaged team. He would be looked at better had this squad had any perimeter talent.

He was benched for Bismack Biyombo.

We played frontcourt of Biyombo, Ibaka and AG next to Elfrid Payton on PG.

Let that sink in.
