He definitely should get some burn. I don't think Bamba will be ready to play against the Bulls tonight.

What a surprise this guy was. Never seen him before but wow what intensity and attitude he played with.

He's got a 7'5" wingspan.

I genuinely thought this is what 2000 Bo Outlaw would look like in the NBA today.

Appears to have more energy and motivation than Mo.

I reckon being the Magic are tanking the season, may as well have an entertaining dunker on the team during blowouts to entertain whatever fans are left.

a) He will more than double his annual salary this year in these 10-days.

b) Hall is clearly a very good rebounder, meaning he has a nose for being in the right place on long rebounds.

c) Does his excellent bpg metrics over a 36 adjustment mean he has capacity fo NBA-level man defense?

d) As his stat-lines exudes "Early Khem Birch", I am super interested to see how he sets pick. Mr. Hall could very well be auditioning fora 3rd string contract on the 2021/22 roster.

..

I watched him at Bama. solid rebounder and defender. no 3 pt range, but knows his strengths

he could be a Birch replacement. 3rd big to come in, rebound and defend.

Hall did exactly what a guy on a 10-day deal has to do. Come in and just play as hard as hell.

Reminds me of when the Magic signed MCW to a 10 day deal late in the 18-19 season after Briscoe got hurt. MCW came in and played with so much energy and tenacity that he not only earned himself a contract for the rest of that season, but he ended up getting $8M guaranteed over the next three seasons (two separate contracts).

Everybody has more energy and motivation than Mo. Mo gave up on himself after Dallas passed him.

And he wears #45 too!!!

But now some serious talk? I didn't see him playing, but looking at his defensive accomplishments, 6'9'' (230 lbs). Can he be the next Ben Wallace (he was 6'9'', 240 lbs, both born in Alabama)?

Career highlights and awards
- All-NBA G League Second Team (2020)
- NBA G League All-Defensive Team (2020)
- NBA G League All-Rookie Team (2020)
- 2× SEC All-Defensive Team (2018, 2019)

Game has changed a lot since then, but Ben was able to succeed in an era that Centers were way bigger, for sure Donta can do it too, however nowadays it's required more spacing from centers... Well, anyway, if he keeps his energy, we could have found our backup center for sure and we can send Bamba to space.

I am super excited to see how this job-audition works out for Hall.

His positives read like a dream for a practice squad player. He plays tough defence, boxes-out, and is just "in the way". That is exactly the kind of player Carter and Bamba need to train against.

I am rooting for Hall to earn a two-year, team option, year-2, LLE deal from Orlando. For one it frees up the SRP to be for a more project player rather than a college vet big (i.e. Timme).

If this dude is really 6'9" with a 7'5" wingspan...he's not going to move normally. Those are alien measurements.

I love his build. Looks like a more coordinated version of bismack biyombo... strong build... long arms... amazing tenacity and energy. Really loved the minutes he gave us. As someone said... hope Mo is looking on.

as someone who watched him at Bama....no. He will play solid defense, but not even close to Wallace levels. Also, Wallace wasnt 6'9. closer to 6'6-6'7.

Appears to have excellent hands from that highlight video catching those passes one handed and dunking. Seems to have solid reflexes. I can see him sticking.

How come so many teams let go off him though. He played in the NBA before so its not like he is Birch who we got from Europe. Hall has been in NBA rosters before.

zero 3 pt range that so many teams think you have to have.

OH yeah, I meant TEAMS in general. Like you get a 3rd string C to give minutes of rest for your primary and backup. As long as he doesn't hurt you like playing NO defense then its all good.
