No one is hating on him. He’s 18-19 years old with very little time under his belt to be hated on. Go prove yourself first.

Re: Jonathan Kuminga (Poll)
All this doesn’t matter because we are either drafting Barnes or Sengun at 5. Then that BootyNight or Buukeknight whatever his name is at 8

if its sengun then might as well move the team to Seattle because we don't deserve a team with that pick
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Re: Jonathan Kuminga (Poll)
Honestly I see Sengun more likely to reach Sabonis status than Kuminga to be a Jaylen Brown/Jimmy Butler player. Wouldn't be mad with that pick.
I think Im out on Kuminga. I think its between Suggs or Barnes for #5.

Re: Jonathan Kuminga (Poll)
Serious question.
Did Jonathan Kuminga have the least efficient scoring season of all time by a lottery wing?
Even Cam Reddish was better!

If we took Kuminga, I think OKC would take Sengun.DiplomaticMagic wrote:Honestly I see Sengun more likely to reach Sabonis status than Kuminga to be a Jaylen Brown/Jimmy Butler player. Wouldn't be mad with that pick.

Guess we have a different outlook then. With Curry and Klay's outside threats, I think they need a more driving/slashing type of scorer to open up the court rather than someone who "triplicates" their 3-point abilities. But hey, what do I know.lol

he's that perfect Klay backup, especially with Klay and his injuries lately.

You mean groomed to be a successor? That's where you and I differ again. Right now I don't think GSW is thinking about the future. Especially with their "leaked" news that they are trading 7 and Wiseman. After these 3 time in the sun is over, I think GSW is perefectly happy to go "full process" while tye sit at home surrounded by their trophies.
I think they are going all in and trying to squeeze out 2 more championship with these current trio they have. And let's admit it, without Klay producing, they have no chance at all. Thus they aren't looking for a backup but another threat to maximize these current trio's championship window. JB I think of all rookies fulfill that ready to play ready to score criteria.

i mean, he could be his successor. But he can be that 3 pt sniper to Curry like Klay is, while playing defense with those long arms right now.

True. With Moody's perceived strength in the 3pt area he could be groomed as Klay's replacement. But as I said, I think GSW knows they can't win a ring without Klay and their window is closing. Unless Moody has a Luka like jump from a rookie to a sophomore-HOF then that window isnt viable for their championship run.
Thus, as I said I think they will take ( if they keep the pick ) the most scoring-capable ready of all the choices that complements ( not replace ) their current trio. Since for me they have 2 deadly 3pt shooters that opens up halfcourt for them, I think they want that slashing/driving scorer to keep things honest for the defense.

if Moody can take to that role though, that could reduce Klay's minutes some, especially coming back from all these injuries. With Klay on the hook for 3 more years, maybe reducing his minutes from 34 mpg to 27 mpg helps that recovery if Moody could absorb those minutes without changing the GSW game plan
we're all just throwing stuff on the wall right now. who knows how any of the draft will go
