But Hampton is interesting prospect non less.

He has talent but is kind a stiff, feels like he didn't play much basketball as kid. Maybe over time he will get more familiar and basketball will come to him more natural.

I doubt it because of his age but that did happen to me.

Summer before going into senior year I went from 5’5 to 6’0 I **** you not.

I grew 6" freshman year of college...that's unusual but about his age.

Damn man.

I only had huge growth at age of 14. From 5'7 to 6'1.
next three years i grew up like 2 extra inches.

I saw some highschool measurments that my school had, most kids show massive growth from age of 14-17 but for vast majority of them, that's their "final form".

He does look quite tall in his IG story, but he looks his normal height in his latest post from 3 days ago. Hard to say unless he is standing next to someone that we know the height of.

If RJ was a legit 6'7" in last year's draft, he might have been the 1st pick, at least top-4 though.

Regardless of how tall he actually is we got a steal in that trade. Really thought we were going to take him at 15, can't believe he slid as far as he did. Lucky for us that Denver traded up for him, after passing at their first pick....

Even if RJ is 6'5" in socks, it would add a lot of possibility to his projection.

Are you saying this forum has the "oldest" demographic in all realgm?

I think RealGM has a pretty old demographic in general. Message boards like this aren’t the go-to chat spots for the kids these days. Not enough dancing.

I agree with you and it's definitely true for team boards. I think there are a decent number of kids on the GB given some of the **** that gets posted there.

LOL. Welcome to the problem we have with Green and Kuminga. We still don't know their actual heights,

Like Reddit. I loathe Reddit, not just for basketball but for anything. It's a bunch of spoiled, entitled teenagers that think they know everything. Facts are not welcome, only feelings.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Matt Lloyd on the Magic Pod Squad podcast today confirmed that RJ is taller. He didn't go into detail with a specific height measurement, but did he say RJ IS taller. He also said he's been shooting it really well in the gym.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our starting SG....RJ Hampton.

with the draft looking at forwards, i would be happy if RJ moved more to the SG role

IF he is taller, and IF he learned to shoot, yikes. It sure is a lot of IFs with this team and these guys, but I swear it just takes one of these lottery tickets to pay out and the Magic are relevant again. It's a lot of fun to cheer for these kids with so many unknowns, and hard work they have to put in.

Well... since right now it is officially OFFSEASON then stories like that will of course come up ( along with muscles and weight loss )

So hopefully we do see a pic for proof

He's still too thin to play SF. He's perfectly fine as a shooting guard.

With the trend of the longboi huge wings of the SFs... RJ needs to hulk uo ifnhe truly is 6'7. Otherwise I out Okeke and ifever Kuminga/Barnes/Franz there.

RJ at 6'7 with his frame for now is fine at SG.
