What we saw from Garry Harris and 8 games of Fultz wasn't really that much better than Bacon and his failed attemps to look like homeless version of Carmelo Anthony.

There is simply too many question marks and players who might be nba rotation players who will be treated as rotation players , and there is rookie coach. Wins simply won't follow.

Who is your starting five? And do you Okeke as the PF or the SF if he starts?

Me:

Suggs.Harris.Isaac.Okeke.Carter, and the major minutes backups are, on opening night, Anthony, Hampton, Ross, F-Wagner, and Bamba.
I cannot see how Coach Mosley avoids less than a 10-man rotation. And when Fultz returns, the roster imbalance will really show itself on the minutes available to players.

On the flip side, the end of the season is more our speed and should allow us to go into the summer on a high note. Team chemistry will be improved by then to, so I expect wins. The lighter end of the season will also mess up any "tanking" plans with several wins coming.

If we get Kelle/JI back for camp, and stay healthy, I think we have a chance to be in the play-in discussion.

Let's assume the Magic wins 20% of their games to the ASW, and then Fultz comes in and the Magic wins 45% of their games, it is easy to predict the Media would credit Fultz, when really it is just the schedule.

Opening Night is @San Antonio!

I live in Austin, TX now.

Just bought my tickets for the game! I’m super excited. I have been in Texas for 12 years now. I haven’t made opening night for the Magic in sooo long. I usually make it over Christmas when I visit the family.

This will be a great night. I’m excited to see Suggs and the new guys live!

If it were me, I'd start...

Suggs, Harris, Wagner, Isaac, Carter Jr. and bring Anthony, Hampton, Ross, Okeke, Bamba off the bench until Fultz is healthy.

I agree with your lineup. I'm VERY interested in how Wagner performs and develops at SF.

Floor spacing with Wagner and Wendell will be poor.
Maybe Okeke instad of Wagner.

Suggs- Harris- Okeke- Isaac ( if ready)- Wendell starting 5.

That lineup still lacks any ballhandling and advanced playmaking outside of PG spot.

I agree it has "pace" but not "space". The dependence on Suggs will lead to TOs piling up. But that's why starting a rookie PG sucks for fans.
