So, a recent NBA rookie of the month and two of the teams recent starters are re-upped on "paltry" contract lines? Insanity I say: total madness.

Seriously though: it is great that all three have already proven they are NBA capable players. Defining their respective roles will be fun for fans to watch.

Whether Bamba and Carter get contract extensions will be the next management decision. Is that an 18 October deadline?

Unless one signs cheap we should just wait until thier RFA. The next draft class is heavy on bigs and we can match any offer. Our cap situation should scare away bidding teams.
