It's kind of weird to me the amount of time franz was on the floor and he was just sitting in a corner doing nothing....He's the best thing going right now for us and you can't get him looks? now credit to the bucks for making an adjustment, they staggered the help on the pick and roll but there are ways to get looks other than just pick and roll man....so many things you can do off ball to create a look....then again the only reason why the bucks can focus on Franz anyway is because we don't have anyone else playing right now that the opposing defense has to worry about offensively

There should be absolutely no question that he’s rookie of the month.

No doubt. He's going to end the month scoring at a 19.6ppg clip on 48/39/88 splits over 14 games.
He was shooting 39% from 3 and 88% from the line before the game. I did the math earlier and he was at 40.4% from 3 after this game. I think the 6-6 from the line either put him at 89 or 90%.

We won like 2 games this month. No way they give it to him with that little win.
Most of the best rookies are on rebuilding teams that aren't doing much winning though

when did ROY become all about winning? didn't Wiggins win ROY on a terrible cavs team? All i know is they BETTER not do Franz like they did Cole last year and leave him off the all rookie team

To be fair to the team (sort of) they're so disorganized on offense right now with all these replacements that I can't blame them for not getting him more looks. Sometimes he'd move and another player would move to the same space. It's a mess.

Other times he had the ball and passed it because he was looking at a wall with absolutely nothing happening from the other 4 players. I guess he could force it more but I'm sure the coaching staff would like the team to at least try to play right.

I just don’t want to see Franz lose to Barnes and then we have to deal with a bunch of dingleberries spamming the board with “Scottie Better”, which seems to be their borderline illiterate rallying cry this year.

Yeah but there’s a difference between “not winning” and doing what the Magic are doing, which is holding out players and shamelessly trying to lose every game.

Yeah, this is what i'm starting to believe now...didn't buy it at first but....there is too many injuries and at this point i'm not buying this "no time-table" bs weltman keeps spewing....Just talk to the doctor and you should have a good idea or an estimate when someone can be back...He's talking about he doesn't want to put pressure on players by giving a time table....miss me with that nonsense...these guys are professionals and injuries are apart of the game....It's just funny that NOW they want to take the tank seriously...it's just getting to the point where you're not fooling anybody anymore...

i mean are we really going to get Fultz back from a whole ACL tear before MCW who had surgery to remove a bone spur from his ankle? did MCW have a setback or something? it would be nice to know...what about E'Twuan? has yet to play a regular season game because of what i believe a sprained knee? doesn't seem to be that serious since he didn't need surgery but he remains out INDEFINITELY...did he have a setback? would love to know.....it's putting me in a bind because i didn't like when OKC did it last season when they pulled their injury shenanigans....but now we're doing it lol

Don't worry, it's not like any of them will win.
Winner of this year's ROY is on team who's fans converted into Lakers fans during 2019 summer.

Just for a record, during worst season in team's history, first one, team had 10-26 record at this point.
Fact that we decided to exstend this two dum****s in front office to run this clownshow of fake injuries, holding players, never reporting injuries, never reporting rehab is mockery. Fact that team thinks they can tank their way into anything is laughable.

This is by far lowest point of franchise history. We literally have guy who played 30 min of basketball in 2 years without timetable of return, just after we resigned him.

it's just matter of engagment of opposing teams when it comes to final outcome. Most teams just go through motions against us, playing just hard enough to not end up losing. Even Pistons, worst record, only have 1 ugly loss whole season.

I don't think that's as critical for ROY...all the candidates SHOULD be on crappy teams...otherwise, give it to Moody

I’m thinking Barnes and Mobley are runaway favorites and they are on winning teams. But I am honestly just happy with Franz.

I agree it helps to clearly contribute to wins but I hope it goes to the guy who played best...I'm thinking Franz is definitely in the mix because he's getting good numbers but he's not inefficient (see Jalen Green).

Definitely not close. I mean I'd say I'm watching less games because of COVID related stuff but it's affecting everybody and not something I would categorize as Magic specific frustration.

There’s a better than zero chance he never plays again for the Magic.

Anthony should be back before Gravett comes off the COVID list and Fultz probably isn’t far behind.

Right. I didn’t mean on our team. Just an NBA caliber rotation player at the point.
