Mo out played by Moe. Not surprising. Both Wagner boys showed up, so did Cole.

I'm glad Moe is finally back, i really enjoy watching him play and pesk the opponents lol. I was kinda hoping for more from Fultz like his midrange shot but honestly I'm just happy to see him on the court. He had a few nice passes that became duds but 0 turnovers so that's good.

I didn’t watch the game but why was Franz only on 9fgas when he was the most efficient scorer on the team? Only played 25 minutes - did he get hurt? Even Chuma had 10fgas and only hit 2.

He was rejected on some drives, made couple bad passes and became less aggressive. He was also moving the ball as always and Hampton, Bamba, Anthony trio is not known for creating for others. He missed WCJ.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Nah, not injured. Franz was due to finish the game with the starters and those minutes would've bought him up to his average MPG but we were being blown out so we ended with Admiral, Iggy, Ritzy, RJ and Chuma.

9 shots in 24 minutes is 13.5 attempts per 36. His FGA per 36 is 14.4, so he didn't shoot much less than normal per minute.

In general, it would be good if we got him to shoot more. Part of his craft is that he doesn't ALWAYS look for his shot first but I think everyone wants him to see him jack up a few more tries.

franz played well for the most part...had some turnovers but the reads was there....played good defense for the most part except when JJJ got him on an island and started to back him down being extra physical(although we weren't allowed to be physical on our end with the whistle but whats new) the game got away from us then coach went to the tank lineup and never brought franz back into the game...even though it might have been a good opportunity to let him be the focus of the offense without cole on the floor with him soaking up shots....but whatever, game like this is par for the course...

Orlando: lost the FG% battle, shot the 3-ball poorly, got to the line infrequently and had a terrible FT%, was dominated on the glass, boat badly the TO-differential stat line, and fouled more.

Question: how as this only a 28 point win for Memphis?

Have to dig deep for a positivity stat. Here is goes:
Orlando had the same assists, same steals, and 1 more block in this game.

Harris and Lopez as DNPCDs: was this load management?

Hampton starting and playing 34 minutes; Schofield, Brazdeikis, and M-Wagner combining for 58 minuets played. The Box score reads like a power-tank effort.

As expected, the defense was a total mess without Suggs, WCJr. and Harris. I don't know why Mosley decided to sit Harris, it's not like we had a shot to beat Memphis away on the second night of a back to back with him. But he probably would have made the loss a bit less of a beatdown and the defense less of a train wreck. Oh, well.

Hampton trying to be a PG is painful to watch, he makes Cole looks like Chris Paul.

Ross was a DNP:CD the night before.

Mosley has said in recent pregame comments that they're going to experiment with different lineups down the stretch. I assume that means fewer veterans.

Lopez is probably worse at this point than M. Wagner, so I can understand why Robin is out of the rotation even with Wendell out.

Reminds me of Detroit down the stretch last season. They would sit a few good players each game and rotate them. It's a good tanking move. I'm looking forward to the games they sit Cole and let Suggs play PG the whole game.
