Trade the pick to OKC for a huge haul of future draft picks AND CONTINUE THE TANK FOR WEMBANYAMA. Keep this thread going for another year. /s

Victor has a better frame to take on more weight and broader shoulders, weighs more already (220+ lbs), and still has a year to add on more weight till it's an accurate comparison. My worries about weight with him is less.

He has the same shoulders and height ( for me ) as KP...look at how KP turned out now. Sure he had 2 great AS type seasons with NY... but do we really want a short window with a top pick?

I think the worries about his height in general is valid injury wise. Seems extra tall players (7'1+) get injured more. I expect the reward for a player like him is too much for a team to deny picking him though. Weight could still be an issue but that has yet to be seen, I just think it won't be as much of a concern as with Chet.

I think his mobility as a big man could be something good to see injury risk wise, but could also put him in awkward injury prone circumstances. Atleast his reflexes can help him avoid some of those kinda injuries opposed to a KP.

If he passes his physicals next year, I can't imagine any team not taking him 1st. You just hope for the best that he's a 7'1+ player who manages to stay healthy like a Kareem or David Robinson, and not a KP or Ralph Sampson

I saw somewhere that KP had a history of injuries prior to getting drafted.

Victor is already over 230 pounds, he is 18 years old and added 45 pounds from 2018 to 2020.

It's just thin sosage hands that look like toothpicks.

We don't need tank anymore, we should go for Nurkic 15-20M 3 years (max60)

Fultz / Cole / 2nd round pick
Suggs / Ross / Hampton
Franz/ Okeke / 2nd round pick
WCJ / No1 draft pick / Isaac / BB
Nurkic / Bamba Qo1year / M.Wagner

That would be a competitive team, nobody has a fix spot, we should rotate much and find the best 5 and some trade february and we should go for play in spot 8-)

I wouldn't pay that much to Nurkic...he's not much of a defender and doesn't shoot from range...WCJ/Isaac is a much better combo for the modern game, IMO...If Isaac is healthy, we're back in business as an elite defensive team. I will be disappointed if we don't do SOMETHING substantial this offseason (in addition to the draft).

Why is everyone wanting to spend cap space on Centers when Orlando is trying to get rid of bigs, have no starting SG, and lack wings.
