Who do you bench, Isaac AND Fultz? So that Mr. Rookie and Suggs/Anthony starts? That is not rational.

You bench Isaac and Fultz.

Neither played significant amounts of competitive basketball last season.
They would ease them into minutes behind Suggs (if healthy) and #1.

Orlando isn't grinding out W's at the expense of health and development right now. The roster would be different if that was their plan.

Suggs, Franz, and #1 are the highest valued assets currently on Orlando's roster right now. You play those assets.

He was an elite defender. We have no idea what the injuries have done to his athleticism.

The known unknown is this is management already knows very, very well how his athleticism is currently. Any Isaac trade would require a Mountain of medial reports, and could be subject to termination.

Well, all I can say is that I am happy that the fan-vote is not how coach sets his rotations.

No matter who we draft at #1, they are starting day 1 unless there's an injury.

If Isaac is even healthy enough for opening night (how can anyone be sure?!) He will be on minutes restriction almost whole year.

Im confident that Fultz, Franz, #1 pick and WCJ will all be starting day 1 unless theres an injury. I am not sure about the 2nd guard spot. Could be Suggs, could be Cole, could be Gary Harris, could be FA.

I think Fultz, Franz, and WCJ are basically locks to start barring injury or trade.

I think there is a decent chance that we start the season with both Ross and Bamba on the roster, and if that is the case, I would start Ross at SG and our draft pick at PF. I think a pass-first pg and a vet shooter for spacing are the optimal scaffolding for the development of Franz and this year's pick.

That leaves a bench mob of Cole, Suggs, Isaac, Okeke, and Bamba. I don't really see how any of those guys has grounds to complain about a bench role considering their performance and injury histories. They'll still get enough minutes to show the health and improvement necessary for winning a starting role.

The two players that have barely seen the court due to injury. Yeah, give them the most minutes and start them. Good idea.

Sounds like the Orlando medical staff for sure.
