Maybe they make a fantasy draft on ESPN? So Otis can get a good look in what Dwight wants!

Some people on this board need some Ritalin, Xanax or some weed or something. Chill out and be patient.

our TPE is only worth ~6.5 mil. And you can't package that with players so, it's either for Jamal at 6.5 mil per (which I would be cool with) or trading players for him at the reported 11 mil (yuck)

Does anybody else either feel like this was a move Dwight approved or it's simply trade-bait for somebody else or it's a smokescreen? I mean, if they met today I'm SURE this deal would've been discussed with D12? I know somebody in the Magic who told me essentially Dwight has (including last years mega-trades) and in the future will basically have to greenlight any move.

YES! PLEASE, Orton is TRASH, Q is TRASH and JJ is nothing more than a spot shooter. Jamal can drop 40 on any given night, MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Not for 11 mil a year for 3-5 years. We would have no shot at clearing space if that deal goes through. Meaning we would be left with praying that NO gives us CP3 for Nelson/R. Anderson/ Harper/ Picks... Crawford is not getting us over the hump and would nearly kill any chance of getting that type of player here... I would rather hold off and find something else at 11 mil.

Or maybe Otis has come to the reality after several months of attempts, that he won't be handed expiring contracts for our scrub over-paid players, and that he actually is going for the best players available for our scrubs....

if they want to take garbage off our hands and take duhon qrich and bass for jamal im ok with that cause it clears those bad contracts but other then that count me out

I could possibly see duhon being involved... ATL gonna need a solid backup guard with kirk getting surgery right? so thats the only way I'm ok with overpaying for craword

We wont know any real numbers til it's officials. There's a reason LeBron and LaMarcus Aldrige have been publicly recruiting Jamal, he's easily the 2nd best player behind Dwight if we get him

I have got to say.....at this point, the whole "overpaying" thing almost doesn't matter. It's all in for Dwight now or never. Let management decide if it wants to pay their $$$ in luxury tax and such. Either way, we aren't going to be even remotely close to clearing cap-space anytime soon anyways.

yes. without s/t full MLE is at what 5mil? so 5mil + duhons 3 mil basically makes that a decent move IMO... Would miss JJ would REALLY like to get smith but can't see that ever happening.

Now, if we can have J Crawford and J Smoove, ATL can have whoever they want off our roster not named Dwight.
