Not only that, but Dwight is flat out better than Chris Paul. Without the knee issues, as well.

We damn well better get a better package than what the Hornets got.

there are conflicting reports all morning about this, but if i were NOH, i choose the minny pick (especially now that minny added jj barea to mess with the PG rotation even more)

having said that, if LAC can get paul without giving up gordon, CP3-Griffin-Gordon is a Big 3 - make no doubt about it - and they are flanked by Jordan and Butler who are no slouches- first impression wise, I think they might become the best team in LA this season

its amazing how the clippers stockpiled enough assets to make a run at paul and dwight. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them both going to the clippers. I would take a package of gordon+d.jordan+ 2 1sts for dwight+hedo. We could then trade jj and nelson for some more picks. It woud be nice to have 3 first round picks in next years draft no to mention gordon can become our franchise player

If the Minny pick goes, the only deal you take from LAC is Griffin/Gordon/Kamen/Clippers pick for D12/Turk

Then you dump Meer, JJ, J Rich at deadline and build around Blake/Gordon/Whomever they pick up in the draft.

Sorry, but no one would trade Blake and Gordon for D12. No one! I even think Clippers wouldnt trade Blake for D12.[/quote]

I am not saying or claiming the Clippers do the deal, but that is what you ask for. Same as asking LAL for Bynum + Gasol. If you are forced to trade the best big in the league then you ask for crazy value.

There is no way that the Clippers are parting with Griffin. We may be able to get Gordon but that is not worth it.

^ I would take Gordon over Ellis any day of the week! He is a way more efficient scorer and doesnt dominate the ball near as much.

i will say this, it may be a bit late for a position change, but if Gordon switches to playing PG full time - ala Derrick Rose or Westbrook - Gordon could be franchise-type of player. Remember that stretch when Baron Davis was out for like 15 games cuz he was out of shape in the beginning of last season? Gordon ha d a REAL nice stretch where he averaged 26 points and 6 assists - he's as tough as it gets in dribble penetration - guys like kevin love and others always talk about how he's the most painful guard in the league to go up against in the air and everyone knows he's by far a better shooter than rose or westbrook will ever be

As more time goes I am loosing more hope. If the clippers deal for CP3 goes through then I don't see them making any deals that would help us. They would have CP3 and Griffin which is a nice duo.
