Your guess is as good as mine as to where they're shipping him too, but you can pretty sure it's not going to be to Jay's borough.

Golden State
New York
Chicago

...are my 3 guesses. Maybe Lakers for Bynum?

Anything is possible, don't think this is the case though. This is one of his longtime childhood friends and he was pretty disgruntled about the situation. We'll just have too see how it all plays out.

I always appreciate people sharing info whether it happens or not, IMO I agree with you guys, either GS, Boston, or NY is in play and they are willing to rent him for rest of the season and D12 doesnt want that but that team is willing to give an offer that the Magic want.

Why is everyone more worried about Shaq situation than a McGrady situation? We still had the best record in the conference within 3 years of trading Shaq. The McGrady trade, just put us in bad situation after bad situation where we kept making dumb trades and lackluster signings to cover up.

My guess is

Golden State
Atlanta

But he won't be traded to Nets or Mavs right now.

realistically there is noway we can, or should keep him, if he won't agree to opt in. IMO, its possible his "Wavering" is just his attempt at not allowing the Magic to pillage the nets of their assets, so that when he gets there they have things to trade, or build around Dwill. I just want this over, when I watch the Twolves play, I see a team with great chemistry, when I see the Magic, I see a team with NONE.

Hopefully we can get a good trade

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

^ Also Houston they basically traded away scola/martin/1sts for Gasol they for sure would at least do that plus Lowry and ? hoping Hakeem could get him to stay in Houston

Chicago is a good guess to, publicly he said the right things, but he doesn't wanna play 2nd fiddle to DRose, so if he walked at the end of the year, he would look like a huge idiot

My guess would be Golden State. They seem the most willing to roll the dice with him as a rental from what I've read. If they can land him, I'm sure they'll go all in trying to convince him the bay area's big enough for Superman.

I must be in the minority who thinks we should risk it and keep him.

I'm still thinking about that poster JOHN from the Chi board.

Deng, Noah, Watson, & Asik for Dwight/Turk/Duhon

Then flip Asik & Jameer for Ellis

Deng
Anderson

If Boston is willing to rent him, I would want Rondo on this team! True PG, plays hard on both ends,All Star, etc. This team needs a new level of toughness/swag! (I'm still upset at the way we lost to the Bobcats. one word #CARELESS)

if presented with the opportunity, would you rather have Rondo or Ellis on this team? assuming we trade with chicago and get Deng, Noah, Asik, Gibson in return:

Asik/Gibson/Jameer for Rondo

or:

Asik/Jameer for Ellis

Rondo/Redick/Deng/Anderson/Noah

or

Ellis/JRich/Deng/Anderson/Noah

So your "something imminent" he isn't happy about isn't us bringing in people he doesn't want, it is sending him where he doesn't want to go?

Screw him, who cares if he feels disrespected. He wants out, if you want out you don't get to chose where you go, the team does as they need to do what is best for them. He can still opt out and become a free agent so he can suck it up for a couple months.

I am so ready for this to be over, one way or the other. I want him to stay, but I can't image him opting in and everyone having to go through this again next year...
