I wouldn't be shocked if Hennigan made the Sentinel shut down their entire spots department.

J Rich is the least of our problems. He's a solid vet with a reasonable contract. He could easily help a contending team or a rebuilding team by taking pressure off a young gun.

Disagree while he may not be the most expensive he has the longest contract which is worse in our situation. And I don't see many teams lining up for a declining 30 year old with 3 years tagged on him. What do you think he brings to the table that you can't EASILY find for way cheaper?

not quite. Hedo will count $6 mil towards the cap the following year if he's cut. I still say you trade him and our 19th pick for an expiring. Turn around and trade JRich for a bag of chips and get ready for a great FA in 2013 8-)

According to RealGM he has 2 more years on his contract, this season and next season. Is that correct? What I meant was if we wait til next year to trade him, he'll actually be a valuable trade piece.

Prior to the Dwightmare, Otis actually ran an incredibly tight ship. The Arenas and Hedo trades didn't break until they were done. Ditto Vince Carter, Barnes, even going back to Doug Christie. For the past several years, you only learned about trades after the dotted lines were signed.

Get used to not hearing about much. You don't hear Thunder/Spurs rumors for a reason.

I'm not so sure about this. I'm sure we would be gathering the same type of info/rumors if we followed the Thunder and Spurs the way we follow this team.

I can't vouch for the Thunder cause I don't follow them nor am I a fan of their team, however the Spurs are most definitely tight-lipped as an organization. Being here in San Antonio and having most of my friends as Spurs fans, I can tell you that they don't really know what is going to happen with the team until it actually happens. The Stephen Jackson trade last season for example caught just about the entire Spurs fan base off guard.

Actually, the potential for a Arenas trade was known weeks before the trade actually went down. It was actually OPP that had a source. Note, this was 17 days before the trade went down.

Otis denied those rumors from OPP later that day.

The hedo/jrich trade did come from no where. I don't think anybody was aware of that one days before it actually happened.

This. Plus if you look at his latest tweet. He specifies that Dwight and Rob SHOOK hands after a long meeting. That twitter account is obviously trolling.

Pistons got away clean in that trade. I have no idea what the Bobcats are doing. I can't imagine that they keep Gordon. They must be trading him to another team for more assets or a better return.

I'm not giving otis a pass on the Vince Carter trade.....that clown said Vince was fool's gold when he wanted to come to Orlando when he was still in his prime....when he was still half-man half-amazing....then years later when Vince is frickin 32 clearly not what he once was acted like he was the savior......i'm glad that clown is out...i mean it sucks to lose your job but this dude had too much power and threw his weight around too much.....i doubt he consulted Dwight on players he wanted in the past especially with the "Tail doesn't wag the dog" comment....glad he's gone.....

Ping actually called J-Rich the night before the trade. So, he is actually on quite the roll.
