Sounds like you need to calm down as well. Who says they're going to stop watching? It would just be hugely disappointing/shocking if Henny trades with the Nets after rejecting their call the day before. Would show inexperience, indecisiveness and desperation. Not a good start if that's how it goes. Now i'm going to wait to see how things unfold, but if the above happens I will be pissed off.

Well a few did say they wouldn't buy season tix, and you can't really blame them. People can react however they want. They know it doesn't have weight on any deals, but people are expressing themselves...which is what this place is for. So whoever will have to deal with it.

BTW, why is it seem that we can only trade dwight for another center??
Does the team HAVE to be built around a center? Why cant we trade him for some good wing players and a true PG? why does it have to be Lopez/bynum or no deal?/

Because, with the exception of the Rockets, the teams willing to take him have centers to offer us.

losing a superstar player and getting back the #2 center in the league (that has a higher ceiling than dwight) and cap relief for 2013 with a gm at the helm making solid draft acquisitions? sign me up

Tell me, do you want to be stuck in mediocrity for the next couple of years, or tank get good players, in addition to the ones we would get in the deal from Houston and watch a great young team develp together from the start ?

If you automatically assume that a team with Bynum will be mediocre then I automatically assume that the tanking process will result in failure.

How about instead of just assuming you post some logic as to why a team based around Bynum + Cap Space will be stuck in mediocrity?

Because a center alone can't win you a title and no one is giving up their wings for a guy who can't win them a title, especially since he says he won't resign anywhere, they'd have no time to rebuild their wings before he jets.

Me, as ive said many time, i will never cheer for/support a piece of **** like bynum

Yes, you've made that clear... like 100 times. You can stop now, we get it. I'm sure you will have more to say if he ends up coming here, so save it until then please.

I agree that he's done some bush-league moves in LA and his attitude isn't the best, but people can learn/change. He's only 24 and that's much different than a 30 year old making those mistakes. I think he'll be alright as he matures and once he learns how to channel his frustration.

Because the capspaace will be used to sign someone like Iggy or Monta Ellis, with all due respect to these guys as they are awesome talents, but an Ellis/Bynum pairing or an Iggy/Bynum pairing is not getting close to the Heats and Thunders of the NBA, even with above average to good role players.

Would we need a stretch 4 if Bynum is more gifted offensively than Dwight? Just wondering.

Why do i need to calm down? I'm not making empty threats. Go back through the pages and you'll see who im talking about. "I'm done with the NBA and the Magic" I don't think thats the best deal but It could be a pre cursor to other moves. It isn't the end of the world Lopez is a decent young player and if anything they're trade chips.

What does "get good players" mean???
Everyone with a brain knows Bynum is the #2 center in the game. Why is it better to roll the dice on a 50-50 draft pick who has almost no chance of being better than Bynum?

Put it this way... other than Anthony Davis (and he isn't a lock yet either) what big men in the draft were better than Bynum?

What is the point of playing basketball then? Unless you can get 3 big names you're not going to win anything? If your looking at straight up numbers and talent, 28 teams should just give up right now.

I think he meant watching as in on TV. Not many people here buy season tickets. But yeah, nothing wrong with not buying tickets since that would mean investing money into it when you can just watch at home or at a bar for free.

Why are people creaming themselves over Bynum? He's talented, but the guy has been injured far more than he's been healthy.

Not to mention he can be a dirty player. Does everyone forget the cheap shots during the playoffs the last few years?

Is that really what this team needs? An often injured, sometimes dirty, player?

Well heres my biggest problem with that thinking, hes been in the NBA for 6 years and still making those same childish mistakes, and thats with guys like Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol there to mentor him, what is he going to do when he comes to a team like this, that has no leaders and most likely a rookie head coach, who is going to keep him in check and help him grow as a person? Do you really think hes going to stop acting like a childish goon when he has free reign to do whatever he wants?

If he didnt listen to phil jackson, what makes you think he will listen to phils assistant or a rookie Mike Malone?
