Well, got to think if Hennigan is to meet D12 with the new coach this week in LA, that we'll get a new coach within the next few days? Hopefully?

Ok kinda OT but does anyone follow YBR on Twitter i do and he is driving me nuts like seriously there are times when he tweets like minute i leave my twitter up for an hour next thing i know i got like 20 random tweets from him
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I don't care if Howard starts the season in Orlando or finishes here at this point. As long as he does NOT end up in BRK at the trade deadline. Henny needs to make that clear to him now. Skip Bayless may have a point. Hold on to Howard and he will eventually sign and stay.
As far as the Ellis talk from the last thread...Ellis is NOT the answer. It is a CP3 AND Iggy type player or bust. We will always have the potential to get to the ECF every year with Howard but thats it.
Im with you 100%. I dont care really I just want the season to start.
Ellis would only part of the solution, first guard in D12 era who can almost always break down a defense... Mainly, it would show D12 we are serious about helping him out cause IF you have any basketball intelligence, D12 was right to say team as currently constituted was not a CHAMPIONSHIP team

I followed him for a day until I unfollowed. He is annoying on Twitter. Tweets 99% about stuff unrelated to Magic/Dwight and sounds like an idiot doing it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but what about bringing Pietrus back to sure up the SF position?

Do you think theres room in there next to Rudolph
Yes, Rudolph would be the largest polyp.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLII Off-Season Edition
A long article on Dwight Howard's 3 year fall from grace.
http://hoopscritic.com/2012/07/24/dwight-howards-fall-from-grace.aspx
Nothing new there, just an entire rundown of the last 3 years. Basically, letting Hedo walk and not resigning him was the reason this all fell apart.

Essentially, many of the same cast of characters that were acquired in an attempt to pleas Dwight, were the contracts that were preventing Dwight from getting to play for his beloved Brooklyn Nets.

Ellis would be a great start but this team needs a lot of help to honestly be a championship contender. Unless Henny can dump JRich, Hedo, Duhon, Q, and maybe BBD, there is no way we have enough cap space to get enough quality players needed to contend. And that sucks. Only way to truly contend is to rebuild and contend in the future. Unless Henny is a Magician...no pun intended. That is why I am torn on keeping Howard and making trades for better players vs. a complete rebuild deal with HOU.

Dwight Howard source tells me D12 hasn't completely closed door on #Magic "he's ok starting the year in Orlando" #Orlando #NBA
And then request a trade in February?
This is what is so stupid about Hennigans trip out there. Staying here until February is Howards ONLY chance to get to BK, Henny is screwing up a potential trade with Houston in order to give Dwhiner a chance to stick it to us again at the trade deadline. You don't think Fegan has anything to do with this? This is their plan to get to BK and it appears Henny is opening up the door. If he does this, we have someone who surpasses Otis in ignorance.

I am all for that if he takes the Min.
If we don't/can't dump Hedo and Duhon in a Trade, I say we just buyout both NOW. Get them off our roster! Someone earlier posted a list of SF FAs. I would buyout Hedo and Duhon. Trade JRich and sign Alonzo Gee and Terrence Williams for $3 mill each per year.
PG: Nelson/FA/FA
SG: Redick/Liggins
SF: Gee/TWIll/Q
PF: BBD/Nicholson/Harper/Clark
C: Howard/Ayon/O'Quinn
Then if we do the HOU trade and get back Lamb/Donatas/Jones, we are set at all positions except PG really. I would sign Flynn and hopefully Donatas can put on some muscle to play C. I would move Harper/Clark for better PG and C depth.
PG: Nelson/Flynn/Wayns
SG: Lamb/Redick/Liggins
SF: Gee/TWIll/Q
PF: BBD/Nicholson/Jones
C: Donatas/Ayon/O'Quinn
Very nice young depth.
