The Bulls automtically say no because they have the cheapest owner in the league, but how does that help either side?

I find it interesting that Henny will be in Boston, attending our game, on Friday. With the recent rumors of the C's heavy interest in Redick, makes me wonder of the scouting aspect of that game. Also, with Rondo out for the year, could they also have interest in Jameer?

If it is a 3 team deal and gets us a PG coming back and a solid one like Heinrich or Ridnour then I go for it.

Rondo for Nelson provides a path for the Cs to make the playoffs this year before a team explosion, and for Orlando this is a worthy gamble on Rhondo's future health. Plus, this put the Magic in full tank mode for this season.
The question is if Boston s prepared to blow-up the team in their off-season.

J.J. Redick's presence in trade rumors will undoubtedly increase as the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 21 approaches.
Redick spoke with RealGM on Monday, discussing the trade deadline and his impending unrestricted free agent
“It’s become a home for me," Redick told RealGM of Orlando. "I met my wife there and I’d love to play there after this year. If they wanted to re-sign me, I’d definitely consider it, obviously if I’m here past the deadline.
'I like Orlando and I like the people. The community has been wonderful for me. I’m very grateful to play for one team for seven years. It’s very unique and I’m fortunate for that.”
Magic general manager Rob Hennigan controls Redick’s fate for the rest of the season. As a result, Redick has kept in contact with Hennigan and his agent while rumors continue to surface.
“My agent (Arn Tellem) has kept me in the loop and Rob has kept me in the loop,” said Redick. “Nothing is imminent, nothing is in the foreseeable future. I expect that there will be more discussion, more serious discussion I should say, around the deadline. If I’m here, I’m here. If I’m not here, I’m not here. There’s nothing I can do to control that situation.”

First of all, there's no way Boston is trading for BBD again, so that's pretty much out.
Personally, I wouldn't trade for Rondo. He's about to be 27 years old, and in a year he might come back from a major knee injury. So best case is he'll be 28 when he's ready to play again, on a team that's one year into a rebuild. Off a major knee injury. A player that relies on the first cut to be exceptionally
effective. Not a recipe for success.
Everyone bashed trading for Rudy Gay because of his age and where he lwould be "when the team is ready to compete again," but Gay is actually seven months younger and, oh yeah, no major knee injury to recover from.
