Right now I favor either Jackson or Bamba, as Orlando needs to move on from Vučević.

Vučević's could be part of some package to get on of the 2nd tier PG prospects, who could be a starter in 3-4 year's time. Recall after all this is what happended for Orlando to gain Howard and Nelson, and we all know how that resolved.

My dream is this roster on opening night:
Augustin/Gilgeous-Alexander/Caupain
Fournier/Ross/Iwundu
Isaac/Simmons
Gordon/Hezonja/Metu
Jackson/Noah/Birch

Leading to 2019/20 it becomes:
Gilgeous-Alexander/Caupain/xxxx
xxxx/Iwundu/xxxx
Isaac/Simmons/xxxx
Gordon/Hezonja/Metu
Jackson/Birch/Noah
(xxxx = wholes to fill)

And then finally the Magic can start winning in 2020/21, the year after Noah(former-Biyombo) !

Yes no more softevic please, one of jjj, wcj, bamba to replace him.
I would love to have one of sga, walker or khyri thomas on the team.
also good to give caupain a chance, he had a very good season for lakeland.

I hope hezonja stays.
Metu, don t know much about him.
I would rather have Wagner.

You send biyombo to new york?

Yes. Biyombo has no place here. Noah needs to leave NYC. THis is a no-braier trade for me as both players have similar contracts both on two-years. There is nothing for Orlando or NY to lose.

I agree that a combo-big makes sense for Orlando. Wagner or Metu is 6 of one for me.

Yes brown, shamet, robinson, okogie would be very nice.

My absolute favorites are walker and thomas.

Great shooter and terrific in pick n roll.

6f4 with long arms, high bbiq, makes great decisions with the ball and ability to play both on and off the ball at a high level.

Weham definitely look for an second first round pick.
There are so many good guard prospects, it makes you wonder, why take one at 6 when you can get one later? Take a premium elite big or wing prospect and get that PG later.

Good argument.
Young is a better prospect than shamet.
Talking about wing prospect.which one would you draft?

I really like lonnie walker but picking him at 6 seems a little bit too high for him.

But if weham are convinced of him they should do it
No doubt, Trae is a better prospect.

Only wing I'd take at 6 is Mikal and maybe Porter.

35th pick + Ross to ????
41st pick + Mack + Iwundu to ????

For Celts: Irving is coming back next season with Smart as his primary back up. No more playing time to spread around the PG position.

For Magic: They will get a playoff tested PG who is still young to play in front of DJ with no qualms. They also get a swagger vet in Morris who is also playoff vet.

My best guess is, hiring an older coach shifted the Magic’s strategy of rebuilding from ‘thru the draft’ to ‘thru young vet’. As for Gordon, It leaves a bitter taste but the Magic has no choice but to match the max offer sheet from another team (Sacramento).

Rozier. Augustin
Simmons. Hezonja
Morris. Isaac
Gordon. Birch
Baynes. Biyombo
This is terrible, man.

This is truly the most stacked position in the draft. I love Lonnie Walker great prospect I just don't think we will be in a position to draft him.

Lonnir Walker
Landry Shamet
Troy Brown
Bruce Brown
Donte D
Kevin Huerter
Jerome Robinson
Gary Trent jr
Zhaire Smith

This class is stacked with really solid players with some decent potential.

Im sure there are plenty of big guys who cant put the ball in the basket later in the draft too. Doesn't mean they are better prospects then the big guys at the top.

If the Magic end up drafting Mo Bamba, I would be FLOORED if Clifford opted to start him as a rookie.

He’s going to be super raw in year 1. I would anticipate him playing somewhere between 10-15 minutes a night behind whoever is starting.

My hope is that Isaac, with two NBA summers already under his belt, won’t get the Clifford treatment.

He showed enough defensively, albeit in a small sample size, to make me think he’ll get playing time.

Would you guys do this trade?

Magic in: 16th pick, Dudley and Knight.

Suns in: Vooch, Ross and Mack.

The suns do this to get good veteran talent. Plus they are expiring contracts going into next years trade deadline. They can cut Mack to save some money.

The magic do this to get another lottey type talent. We obviously take on some bad contracts but Knight atleast expires the same year biz does so that’s a plus. I would be very happy with a draft of Trae Young with our 6th pick and Lonnie Walker IV with the 16th pick.

A small ball lineup of Trae, Walker, Fournier, Gordon and Isaac would be fun to watch.

Young and Lonnie Walker - that would be an amazing draft in my mind. I just don't see Walker falling to 16. I think the Magic need to get that 12th pick from the Clippers and try a trade with them.

Yeah I don’t either. I was just basing it off of the ringers mock draft and they had Walker falling to 16 so that’s why I picked the suns. I would prefer to trade with the clippers but I’m not sure if they are willing to trade one of their picks.

Pass for me.

Magic would be adding over 15M in salary for the 16th overall pick. That's too rich.

No. I was just challenging the idea that we should pass on a guard and get one later. Im saying that same logic can be applied to getting a big man. Instead of taking Bamba or JJJ early we could find a big man who defends but can't create offense later on.

Gotcha. Problem is the bigs later on are not nearly the prospects the ones at the top are. BIG drop off. Smarter to go Bamba + 80% Trae or Trae + 40% Bamba?

* Uses Bamba and Young strickly examples
