But if you're into those kinds of games and have the money to make one and upgrade constantly, I'd say go for it.

You don't really HAVE TO upgrade every 2-3 years these day imo, you can get something pretty beefy once and it will last longer than that but by the end of it's life span you'll be running games on lower settings but still playable. I'm lucky my work provides a pc for me and I have relative freedom to pick out what.

Keep us updated on the beta, I'm not pre ordering this one still on the fence about how it sounds and how it will work out live.

Already have my vacation all planned out for this release on January 29. Probably will not leave my house the entire time while I'm off from work unless I have to eat and stuff.

That is the beauty of Amazon though. I pre-ordered just to try out the beta. If I end up liking Fallout 76 after playing through the beta, then I'll let my preorder stand otherwise I will cancel it and not be penalized whatsoever.

Gonna get it eventually, but also really wanna play the two PSP games and Acsension. Heard amazing things about it though.

I am doing that as well on my Vita going through the God of War collection. I beat Chains of Olympus when it came out on the PSP. Picked up Ghost of Sparta to play on my Vita which was a great game to go through. Ascension is the only one I won't be able to experience unless I buy a PS3 since I do not own one anymore.

I'm currently playing Yakuza 6. I've really got into the Yakuza games in the last six months. If you haven't played any of the games before start with Yakuza 0.

There are so many franchises that for some reason I never played. I think it was because I got out of gaming for a console generation when I went to college. I missed a lot of the late 90s and early 00s.

I was listening to some reactions from Kinda Funny talking about playing Smash and it sounded like a really interesting game. Never even heard about it before.

Haven't heard about Smash Bros in general or the newest iteration?

If not, trust me, you'll love it. It's easy to learn and an outstanding game to play with friends (or even alone, tbh). Even if you don't like fighting games, you'll love this one. Super Smash Bros Melee (the 2nd one - GameCube) is probably my favorite game of all time.

BTW, I love Kinda Funny too lol.

I had actually never heard about Smash until this one for the Switch was first announced. Hearing Tim talk about different games in the series, how certain attacks were out or modified in the Ultimate version, got me really intrigued.

Oh you'll love it man...........I can't even think of a proper comparison to make to it, it really is in a league of it's own. I know people who don't like videogames at all who still like to play Smash (mainly my sister lol). I'd give it a shot when you have the chance.

Agreed. I'm a Smash Bros. junkie. Game is easy to pick up and play but has very deep concepts that can be hard to master which makes it extremely fun for fans of fighting games. Definitely need to get something going here online when this game drops in December.

Prob my favorite game of E3. Im so hyped for this one. Also if you like The Ghost of tsushima then you might want to check out sekiro shadows die twice from the guys who made the Dark Souls and Bloodbourne game.

A samurai action game ala Dark Souls style? That jumps my list for the most anticipated game.

I'm definitely excited for Sekiro as soon as I saw it be unveiled during Microsoft's conference. I am also excited for Nioh 2 which also uses that Dark Souls formula beautifully even though I own the 1st one and have not gotten around to playing it yet lol. I actually think it is time to dive into Nioh now...

I know it gets trashed on and much of it is deserved tbh but I am actually enjoying Destiny 2 again now that I am playing it on the PS4. I already own it on the XBOX but my girlfriend's 17 year old nephew owns the game and wanted me to play with him so I picked it up cheap for $9.99 on Amazon. Way more people to interact with online compared to the XBOX version.

Thanks for the answers about PC gaming hardware that I've asked in the last page. I had some issues this past weekend and I couldn't come here until today. Also couldn't touch my PS4 for around 10 days now, I want to finish God of War and move to a new game soon.

Back in 2015, I bought a MSI 16GB 17" laptop with SSD and Terabyte HD. Thus, it is very quick. I use it more for music production and some video editing than Gaming. I like that I can record 8 mics at the same time with no issues. Likewise, I have never had any gaming issues with any games I have ever played as in no lag whenever I do play games. I have my graphic settings at the highest possible settings. Sure, these laptops go for a good $1,200-$2k, but if you plan on owning it for a good 4 years or so, the laptop should still be relevant for the newest games or software during that juncture. It was well worth it. I am thinking of upgrading sometime soon if I didn't just spend over $2k on studio gear and another guitar I didn't need.

This - I get a beefy one and it's good for 5 years, even 6 is possible depending what kind of games we're talking. And that's roughly the the lifespan of a console before it goes obsolete so...it's a matter of preference in the end.

Nice. The reason I asked it's because here high end computers are really expensive, so most people in my country end up gaming on consoles or average PCs.

I just bought an Alienware from a friend that is living in the US, he used it for a few weeks and when he made a quick trip here he shipped it to me. So what I paid for was the US soil price + conversion to my currency, no crazy taxes and import fees that I have here. For me it was a great purchase because of that.
