Can't blame him- bigger payday and hopefully will be far away from this loser franchise and onto a team that values progress and winning.

Man we are going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and replace Ennis. Iwundu might be the best available, since we don't have any money.
We should roll the dice on Josh Jackson.
I'd rather take a shot at a 2nd round pick vs Iwundu on a multi year deal. Iwundu is a 1 year league minimum guy ala MCW

There aren't a whole lot of FA's this year, and the ones that are out there will be heavily courted by the contenders with the MLE or more. There isn't a ton of draft guys this year either. Of course they should draft for need in the 1st either.
I mean I guess they could run Okeke out there with Fournier and MCW (if they can re-sign). I really hope they don't play AG out of position at the SF any more. For his sake and ours.

I'd put a mortgage payment down that our starting lineup opening night is
Fultz
Fournier
AG
Aminu
Vuc

I would be with you if this is some better quality draft like 2018 one. But this draft looks like 2014 one, without Embiid. Bunch of teams being too exited and desparate to move up and down. Magic in 2014 surrendered their 76ers pick just to move from 12# to 10# and draft Payton over Šarić.

That was partially because the previous FO couldn't hide their excitement for Payton, and got totally fleeced. I am with you there are probably no day one starters at SF in this draft. Okoro is probably the closest thing and he seems like he will struggle a lot.

If healthy, he's literally a perfect fit especially with Ennis opting out.
Kind of a semi-low risk high reward situation. He was playing some of his best ball pre-injury. I have always personally been a fan.
I just dont envision Okeke starting day 1 and our wing depth is non-existent (I dont envision us retaining neither Iwundu or Frazier).

Has the protections on the 2021 pick been released? 2021 draft is suppose to be DEEP so I could see the allure, but I'm glad our front office isn't doing a trade just to do a trade.

I thought someone said lottery protected. The West is going to be rough, so that could go either way, but you know Portland is gunning for the playoffs.
I take this to mean that we don't really like what's available in the middle of the first round. Two mid-first-round picks doesn't seem to be bad value for Gordon. Either we have had more favorable discussions regarding Gordon, or they just aren't that keen on moving him.

Does anyone do this?
