Happy to see RJ making some shots today and locking in on D.

He really does the tools to be a good perimeter defender with long arms.

Franz as made me forget that we actually have Chuma still out. I'm guessing Mo Wagner will lose most of his minutes once Chuma returns.

Suggs is struggling and I'd like to see the coaching staff figure out easy ways to get him involved. His brain looks overloaded on the perimeter unless he's going against Evan Fournier. Passing the ball when he crosses half-court and then taking a long 3 pointer at the end of the shot clock isn't going to do much for his development.

I'm not going to forget about Sengun for a while regardless because he was still out there to be had. His offensive potential is so much higher than Franz' and we desperately need someone that can be the centerpiece of our offense.

I'm ecstatic with what I've seen from Franz though. He needs to work on his shot and he needs to continue to use his length to get into the paint and finish around guys, which we've seen him start to do. He was so passive for the four preseason games and the first two games of the regular season. That frame is going to be so hard to deal with for a lot of the guys he will match up against.

Defensively, he is a thinker. He isn't going through the motions. He is learning. If he can stonewall guys like Kemba and also defend guys like Randle in the post, then he is going to be very special.

He's also 6-13 from 3, this season.

He's not a defender either. He has been a massive problem at the defensive end in the early portion of the season. He can't give up ground the way he does because pretty much everyone in the league can just shoot over him when he is backpedaling. He lets people get wherever they want to. He has to be more aggressive in meeting guys when they make a move and cutting off their advance.

I like him. I think the criticism of him this year has been unwarranted. I think people have forgotten just how young he is. He's going to be just fine.

That was a horrible close to the half but being down 13 isn't the worse thing in the world. We have to improve our rebounding. We don't seem to have a problem with the initial defense but then we struggle to finish it by securing the rebound. We can solidify that, our defense can actually be decent.

He’s fine if he doesn’t have to make too many decisions. I just don’t think he’s a high IQ guy which, to me, limits his potential.
