And ditto for the Bulls pick (probably around #15-20, or better). I think I read somewhere that it's looking like a good guard draft(?).

This is where you start exploring trades for veterans IMO.

I haven't done enough research into this class to determine if it's 15 picks deep with high end talent or not, but I doubt it is. Most drafts are not.

If the Magic do end up with like the 8th overall pick, I'd be looking to move it for a capable veteran. Someone in the 24 to 26 age range.

Thought this was the appropriate ace to put this.

Broke my record for checking tankathon during the season. Nov. 1 after the OKC loss was the earliest in a season that I looked at the next draft. :banghead:

Funniest thing is we were #1 on Tankathon for a good stretch to start the season, then we won a single game and went down to #5. Lots of terrible teams out there.

Back in the lead with a clutch loss though.

This kid would be a great target with the Bulls pick and Nick Smith would be a great target if you fall out of the top 2. A Smith and Suggs back court would be a ferocious back court. You can find shooting. Then get your core 6 players to improve their 3pt shooting.

That's because we SHOULDN'T be this terrible. We've got way too much talent to be this bad.

David Steele can have fun with his name. Dick hammers it down.

Just curious, why aren't you a big fan? I love this kids and he's still improving his shoot. He is money mid range, definitely needs to work on that 3 tho.

But he just seems like he has that IT factor.

Paolo and Franz are the pillars, do you draft a player that's ball-dominant and incapable of effectively playing off-ball? Are we drafting BPA or fit?

So far, Nick Smith & Jett Howard (Bulls pick) have my interest.

Good chance Scoot becomes a better playmaker scorer than Franz though. Franz would become an awesome #3.

If we don’t end up with a shot at Scoot, I’d be interested in Nick Smith and Keyonte George.

Well I actually don´t buy his shot so far. If you can´t shot as a PG in this league, well it´s difficult. The Magic know a thing or two about that unfortunetaly.
Plus if I´m the Magic, would I want Scoot on my team as a lead ballhandler?
With Banchero and Wagner as point forwards, I think it would be a better idea to find a good young wing that can play off the ball.
I just love the way Banchero and Wagner play and they´re match up nightmares for other teams. Banchero specially is absolutely amazing.
And like I said, I ´m worried about Scoot´s shot.
But if the Magic have the second pick, they should take Scoot clearly. No question about that.

I think Franz is a key piece, but I see him as a 3rd option on a championship team more than a 2nd. I think we need to find a guard who can be that 2nd option.

Also why does it have to be a player is either ball dominant or can't play off the ball? Players can be skilled at both, also Franz can handle the ball, but doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, so this narrative that there isn't enough of a basketball to go around, I just don't see it.

The Bucks have 3 players (Giannis, Middleton, Jrue) in their starting lineup that can create with the ball in their hands

I like Nick Smith alot, Him & Scoot are my top 2 guards currently.

Man screw the Tankathon. This is a pretty decent team.
They just won 2 games without Paolo. Let's build on this.
