Fine with the draft. Would have gone AB and Dick but trust front office

I would've probably drafted #6 Black #11 Lively.

I was really high on Keyonte and Cam early, I just had the vibe that the Magic weren't interested.

It's possible that we didn't have Cam's medicals.

Feeling good. If we’d taken both AB and Podz our backcourt could’ve been fantastic.

Wallace was my only other contender with AB and I’d have been equally happy with him I imagine.

Hmmm Hendricks sadly is on the GL like our own Jett... George on the other hand... there are some moments when we ask ourselves " why wasnt this guy drafted after Wemby and Miller " and other nights " this guys is the 23 version of Bad Cole Anthony "

Glad to see I had AB and Hawkins, but my real preference was to trade #6 & Fultz for Simons and grab BPA at #11.

That might have been plausible at the time…not anymore.

Grady looks like a real stinker so far. Happy with my Keyonte love (bigger Isaiah Thomas).

Don’t know why Atlanta drafted Bufkin there are a grand total of 0 minutes available for that guy and they had multiple players with all the same skillset.

Whitmore at 6 and Wallace at 11 would be a wet dream :P :P :P :P

Settle down Black as it meant moving Cole/Fultz.. hopefully this is true in a few days. Lively at 11 was another option for me.

Didn’t love Dick would’ve taken George/Hawkins before.

and his identical twin prospect, Jalen Hood-Schifino, mentioned as a possible piece in a Murray trade :banghead:

Too early to really say. I had Hendricks at 6 and Hawkins at 11. Hendricks and Jett are both in the G league so who knows. I still stand by concerns with Black so Im not standing down on that. I like some of what Ive seen from Hawkins.

I really wanted Ausar, he was my guy the whole draft process. But once the top 5 shook out how it did, I probably would've went with Coulibaly at #6. Bufkin and Lively would've been my picks at #11.

I'm not as high on AB as a lot of people on here. I'm a little optimistic about Jett. I wouldnt say I'm happy about our draft, as I definitely was upset on draft night. But I'm rooting for them and hoping they pan out.

Ultimately, I think we drafted okay, but continued progress of Franz and, especially, Paolo & Suggs supports the idea that we could have traded one or both of those lottery picks in a "loaded" draft for a significant player who'd be a long-term starter now.

Wallace went 10, he was not available at 11.

I liked Lively at 11.

I think Black will eventually be the #2 player in this draft.

Added edit:

BTW, I wanted Wallace and Lively in the draft. I was not sold on Black. I now think Black will end up as the #2 player from this draft. I could be wrong, but I think Black's offense takes a big jump over the next year as well as his leadership. With his size and defense the sky is the limit.

Beginning of plan to get rid of Murray.

If Bufkin was better, Murray would already be gone.

Not necessarily.

They still have Bogey, Matthews, Griffin, and Bey.

Where does Bufkin get minutes there? Lol

Black ending up as the second best player in this draft is exactly what I think, too

I’m not sure why I left off Wallace here. Probably because he was already gone - really liked him at 11

Whitmore at 20 is looking crazy. He’s shown some exceptional flashes as of late. His catch and shoot ability, physicality, and finishing package are impressive for a 19 year old

That was my want going into the draft. Would’ve gone Black Whitmore as the draft unfolded.

With Miller scoring a lot... that is kinda hard. Plus Scoot is somehow scoring..inconsistently maybe.. but you can see the explosion.
