He’s 20 years old and on the main team… and in the rotation… and playing well.Super excited about him and Franz.

I do not mean Kessler is the better player, I mean Kessler is a rim protectors and a good rebounder. Also if you noticed, Paolo became a lot freer plying his natural position.

That's the role that Kerr wants him to play on this team but ultimately that's not the paolo we know.... He himself said he wanted to show other aspects of his game like passing and not having to be THE guy......i guess in a way it's going to be good for him, but all I see him doing offensively is pick and roll/pop all day long and there were times he was open but he was a victim of Anthony Edwards weakness, passing the ball....3ddman23 wrote:Paolo looked solid. Didn't get many touches but he was playing his role. Trying hard on d and give it his all. I feel like he should be incorporated more offensively, but that could just be the Homer in me.

I mean that's like saying "the reason I don't like a combo guard at PG, look at Haliburton". A traditional C/PG is always going to work with more lineups, having Paolo in at C is a nice look to bust certain defenses or give new looks to teams - not intended to be his permanent role.

Yeah, you're right. I understand. I just really don't like watching his defense.

I totally get young players accepting a role and credit to Paolo for doing it. But are we sure Steve Kerr doesn’t simply lack creativity with young players? This is less about Paolo and more that Kerr seems kind of odd as a coach.
