So: the moves on Robert Baker and Alex Morales were creative. By being on exhibit 10 contracts, even though other players were waived, Orlando has maximized the number of players that get a USD-75k G-league bonus.

This is an interesting way to get around the G-league salary cap!!!

It’s terrible

We live in Orlando and I have YouTube TV and what seems like 100 streaming apps

And I still can’t watch the game without paying an additional $20 a month for Bally

Nonsense

Bally Sports is being rebranded as ‘FanDuel’. Not sure on the details of other changes but it looks like the app will just be rebranded and the cost/subscription will stay the same. I hope that’s not the case but let’s be honest, it’s the easiest way to transition so I expect it. The app still sucks btw.

They haven’t done anything at all to improve the app. I know the NBA doesn’t own the company and there is contract but how can you sit by and see your hardcore fanbase experience a subpar experience for a premium price? Would have liked to see the Magic opt out of Ballys/Fan Duel/Diamond/Sinclair/etc and provide their own over the air broadcast like the Suns and other teams have done but that would require the Devos family actually caring about the fans.

This is the last season of the Weltman rebuild.

2013-15: rebuilding
2016-18: playoff contention
2019-21: re-tooling
2022-25: rebuilding

In 2018 Weltman pretty much ran with Hennigan's build. After that he spent 3 seasons trying to make the build work. The last three seasons have been focused on player development and asset accumulation. This is the last season where I think player development will outweigh playoff contention. After this though, expect to see trades and win-now moves.

We await the Third Two-Way Deal.

Magic might be waiting for someone to clear Waivers.

I'm interested to see if the Presentation will be any different with Fanduel instead of Ballys. I definitely like the same better.

The future of The Diamond Sports Networks is still very up in the Air as almost all The Baseball Teams are leaving it and some NHL and NBA Teams have left it as well.

Diamond Sports seems to be a year to year thing going forward and eventually we might get all of The Magic games OTA on CW18, TV27 or My65 for free and possibly as soon as 25-26.

Nice workouts.. more mobility rather than strength.

Just curious though... forgive my ignoramus but aren't those Jordan lows he is wearing supposed to be sneakers type walking around the mall thing? Not for any strenuous activities?

I remember last season at this time everyone universally thought Franz was way better than Paolo. Paolo struggled in preseason and first few games. 54% from the line and 44% ts in October

Yes. It was a hot topic that Franz was way better than Paolo early last season and in the preseason. Many were talking about how we should've drafted Sharpe. There was a thread on the GB on how Chet was better than Paolo.

It just reminds me of how Franz has looked in this preseason. Last year, he looked great and shot 50-60% from 3 in the preseason.

Todays the day we see or don't see how Suggs career will go the next 82+ games. I consider this a win-all situation as a fan.

I remember 4 games into the regular season people saying Paolo was a bust because of a slow start. No one has any patience. LOL good times.

No way we are jumping New York and I don’t see the Celtics falling apart.

Issues with New York:

1. No depth
2. Injury prone players at key positions
3. Brunson performance unsustainable

I think the Knicks are going to be better playoff team than regular season team if that makes sense.

A very talented, but top heavy roster with injury prone guys in it.
