Can't wait until they play real teams and not bottom feeders.

Not quite surprising considering they are without two of their 3 top guys and one of those guys should have been MVP if he were healthy last year.

I think the Hawks are good. Was a fan of the trade for Dyson Daniels and their player development is going well.

They won 57 games last year.
They were up by 1 vs Dallas in game 6 and lost to questionable call 2.5 sec before end.

"They are small" - well it's 2024 not 1986 it's not like you have Kareem, Hakeem to deal with.

Also Denver losing to them doesn't mean they are now 30 wins team. They have best player in the world and that will be enough for 48-50 wins, execlly how it was case in past 7 years since he broke as one of best bigs.

No slander here that is a good team. Likely a OKC/Boston championship this year. I just don't like when they say that Jalen Williams is better than Paolo, which is not the case but I can see an argument for Chet vs Paolo though.

I think they are the same team they have always been, a borderline play-in team. It's easy to look good playing against Brooklyn and Char.

It's not like Atlanta does not have talent. They have legit 11-ish players that can play in nba. I'm bit suprised to see Lary Nance getting DNPs, he is good backup C , but probably can't get into rotation because of Capela and Okongwu.

Dyson Daniels is name to keep eye on, guy was flat out lost on Pelicans, over first two games he looked great for Atlanta.

Do i trust them to be great? No. But they might be better than some low end predictions.

This Clippers @ Nuggets game has been good. Nuggets look a bit vulnerable to start the year, but if their core four has a healthy year they're still pretty much a lock to reach 50 wins.

I hope they only win 40 for the sake of the pick they owe us next year.

Oh yeah obviously. Even though Jokic is usually easy to root for, I'm hoping for a down season. I'm just not holding my breath unless injuries strike. The Kawhi-less Clippers seem to be handing them a home loss now, so that's hopeful. (That foul Harden "drew" was a disgrace though)

I was thinking of doing a Nuggets pick watch thread but honestly this will do just fine.

Malik Monk singlehandedly brought the Kings back with a 10-0 run in 1 min

I still wish we signed Monk

Clippres lost to Suns in OT and now beat Nuggets in close game.
Over those two games Ivica Zubac 23 ppg, 13 rpg 3,5 apg
Harden 24 ppg, 12 apg
Norman Powell 24 ppg

It's a shame that Kawhi is so broken, that trio is cooking, Harden-Zubac pick&roll looks so well.
That said Kawhi is still set to return after "weeks" .

Oh and why are people like Miles Bridges and Kevin Porter allowed to play in nba ? Female rights, human rights and all that are just nice buzzwords for political goals? But when player chokes his girlfriend/wife or punches her, nah, it's fine? Disgusting.

Cavs took full adventage of easy schedule and continuity of keeping same roster.
They trashed opponents in all 3 games early on. Allen is "shooting" (dunking?) 20-24 FG

Celtics are off to a hot start for probably same reasons like Cavs ( and to exstend, us), Tatum over 3 games is averaging near 35 ppg 17/34 for 3 (50% ) .

On other hand Wizards... :banghead: No comment

Will Dawkins did draft Sarr and Coulibaly and there is some intention to finding two way players, but why in a blue hell would you collect Poole, Bagley and keep Kuzma? Why would you ever add somebody like Bagley?

How are the Nets spanking the Bucks?

Also..m isnt POR tanking? Yet they are taking a Zion-led Pels team to the woodshed.

Tanking doesn't mean you lose every single game of the season

Even the worst teams in the league are gonna win 15-20 times.
