.500 on the line and they’re playing a 2nd unit. Pride is on the line here.

I don’t think the organization cares, does nothing for them in the long run. If they win this game they are likely resting Paolo and Franz until the play ins. So .500 is likely a lost cause regardless. Staying healthy is probably the biggest priority.

Cole’s back - I wonder if he’ll be a chucker again?

I dont think this is a fluke, its finally clicked for Houstan

81.1 TS% in March.

The bad thing about him is he does little else on the court, so if the shot isn't falling there isn't much there.

For sure, he's been showing some better reads with passing the ball recently like the pass to Franz after the pump fake, and defensively the effort has been there, some multi steal games

I wish this was the 4th quarter.

They care to secure (play-in) homecourt & 7th seed. Not .500.

If we win, we'll clinch the 7th seed?

Cole 5-9 from 3. Can we get this Cole for the playoffs please? It’s nice to watch him cook even if the handles are still unruly.

End of the season games are typically meaningless as teams are resting guys with most seedings pretty settled. This shouldn’t be surprising.

I would question those who bought the tickets though. Have they not seen previous seasons?

I was originally replying to why people (me) are invested in this game. What the organisation wants doesn’t matter.

I want that .500.

Exactly and even with that the game was decided even before it was played as Boston rested half their squad.

I meant for Rainwater, I would like .500 too but we'll see if they do. I think they play one of these next two and rest one of them.

That’s okay. Guymakes $2m…lots of guys in the league making a LOT more just to make 3’s…valuable weapon, even if just a threat whenever he’s out there.

Makes sense but I really don’t know what the point is. I just want to make sure no one gets hurt especially given what has happened this season.

I'd rather see the players rest for the final 2.

It's the last game at home for the regular season.

I would give him a 2-3 yr/4-5 mil a year extension this offseason if he bites

With the extensions of Paolo, Franz & Suggs set to kick in, we need to have a couple players who are rotational and on good deals

Return to Orlando Magic
