Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part II)
about the tampering charges, lol... I can't believe this happened
I mean, it's one thing that we all saw the BS yesterday... but when I went to sleep, I had a feeling the league would cover it up and nothing would leak out
Thankfully Santa came a bit early for us, and the report of D12 and Nets' owner meeting in Miami came out... that's the straw that broke the camel's back... no going back now... everything that happened in the past 24hrs will be investigated... and unfortunately for everyone involved (stern, LA, NOH, Houston, nets owner, Dwight, CP3) will be in trouble.. big time imo.. the timeline and pieces fit too perfectly.. you don't even need detective dan on the case to figure this out.. everyone here is an automatic sherlock at this point. lol too obvious... i'm laughing, but it's sad really. shame.

Nets closing in on Nene.
If the league and Magic successfully file tampering charges on the Nets, I'd go on a limb and say the NBA will temporarily suspend signings and trades to/from the Nets until a resolution is reached.
Maybe, but the Nuggets aren't filing anything so they would probably approve a sign and trade with the Nets so that they get the huge TPE and most likely a draft pick for a max signed Nene.
Any deals involving the Magic and Nets though would be put on suspension until the hammer comes down.

The NBA has been corrupt for years. Any one with common sense could have told you that. Now it is going public and giving the league a massive black eye IMO. I just wonder how many fans have they lost in the last 2 days due to their WWE tactics?

@MagicalNBA: Otis trying to get Iggy from Philly in a possible 3 way trade involving J Rich. Not sure the % of this happening, but Magic are not done.

Interesting news on Iggy. And Magical is more reliable than Kennedy, BRQ, Bucher, Broussard or any of those idiots. So if Otis can pull off Iggy, he added Iggy and Fat Baby. Better than nothing.

Two major upgrades defensively IMO. Was Iggy on Howard's list?

Is Magical really more reliable? I know he had a rep before, but now idk. I hope he's right in this case

So that would be 2 for 2 then. I'm guessing if we get Iggy, Otis will go all out to get Williams and if he can't get him he will try to get Josh Smith.
Nelson
Iggy
Smith
Davis
Howard
or
Williams
Iggy
Hedo
Davis
Howard

Dwight Howard will ask Magic to trade him to Nets today, sources say. Trade could happen as soon as today.
why is chris broussard the only one really forcing this crap down our throats?
