So if u guys have been reading the scouting reports, you would know that this team needs two things.

1) A shot creator (for himself first and then others)
2) A legit perimeter defender

I get that te proposed Nash or Ellis trades would address #1 but who do those trades bring in that can improve #2 ?

You guys' proposed trades should definately consider both of those needs and omit unnecessary things like back up centers.
Originated from the nethermost, currently however, our entire squadron is now hither.

That's honestly the worst trade I've seen in a while...

Daniel Orton... Q.Rich.... and possibly a 2nd rounder.

defense is not the bigger problem, we have people that can defend on the wings if needed...we need scoring..20th in points scored, will be a problem in the playoffs when the game slows down

quick side note - the GSW front office are some complete idiots. Why do you amnesty Charlie Bell, who's $4M contract was expiring THIS YEAR, and not Beindrins? Why even use it?

they needed the capspace to sign RFA DeAndre Jordon to an offer sheet... and Beindrins was their only true C.

Really intriguing scenario coming up where Nets may end up having to move D-Will before Howard. Common sense says there's no way they give up D-Will, but a lot of people are fairly sure he's headed to Dallas this summer anyway.

They needed Biedrens and did not expect him to be this awful. And they used it on Bell so they could sign Jordan to an offer sheet

But who gives up anything for a guy thats a lock to leave? That'd be a franchise crusher for the Nets if he walks. Harris, Favors, and picks is a steep price to pay for a rental

Sounds like us with Dwight except at least we didn't give up anything to acquire Howard.

Maybe the Celtics trade Rondo for Deron Williams, and try to convince Howard to sign with them next season?

If true, I'm about to get my ass suspended with some hard trolling on their board. I was sick of seeing their comments about our situation and how it was a sure thing DWill & Dwight play in NJ. Really sucks they gave up A LOT to get DWill but that's the risk you take when trading for a player who feels no connection to your franchise when he's about to opt out. At least they'll move into that new arena with Brooks & Brook.

Can you imagine the outrage on this forum if Orlando gives up Anderson and JJ for Nash and then Dwight and Nash walk over the summer

I think it was a very good interview. From the way he was talking, Dwight is ours to lose.

That was the most interesting take away for me from that interview. If Dwight can just be patient, he can have his own super team here.
