I honestly think it's a good trade. A #19 pick and a good SG (Whom they could keep or waive to save $6M this year)

That's a good deal and not one I would ever expect from Otis.

They need a legit 2 guard next to Jennings and JJ would fuflill that. 19th pick is good young talent, and if we could turn Jameer, Ryan, or J-Rich into another asset, perhaps a higher draft pick, that could also be sent to MIL.

I think we'll have to include BBD or Ryan. MIL is going to lose Ilyasova in free agency so Ryan can fill in nicely.

WOW! I remembered about 3 weeks ago when we were waiting to get a new GM and our slow news days, I come back and almost everyone in the FO is gone. I don't know whether to be excited or depressed. Hopefully, these changes are in the best interest of the organization.

Big News for the people in the Lake Mary area

Just read on Facebook that Big Baby and the magic broadcasters are going to be at Lake Mary "Friendly Confines" for the draft!

Would be neat to watch the draft with Glen Davis

I wonder if we replay that 9 3 pointer game from jrich against Milwaukee to bucks management, if they would bite on jrich and 19 for Monta :D

What would really make it rememberable would be if he was traded on draft night

What's even more ironic is Dwight lives not very far away from there....

jj+19 is a very respectable package for ellis. the bucks could then draft leonard and sullinger and run a lineup of:
jennings
redick
moute
sullinger
leonard

Throw in Duhon and I bet the Bucks bite.

I'm in!! I really don't think Redick and the 19 will do it.

imo monta is not ideal. to me he basically would be a slightly better version of 09/10 nelson. the magic need a pass first pg and a sg/sf that can create his own shots. also i LOVE the moves henny is making. it just shows how poor of a gm otis really was.

I could see it now. Enjoying a beer with Glen Davis talking about who the magic will draft and then it comes up on the TV "Magic trade F/C Glen Davis to the Warriors for Andrew Bogut and the #30 draft pick" lol

Lol Rudolph and his Monta rumors. Somehow Hennigan and his staff of 1 has leaked that info. Good gravy that guy is an absolute joke and Stephen A wannabe.

Monta is ideal as a SG not PG. Monta is a player that can put up 30+ on any given night. He was doing that with no big man presence, think of what he will do when D12 is drawing double/triple teams.
True we will need a true passing PG, Jameer can go.

No, but it wouldn't be too hard to get it to match.
