Listening to Net fans try to sell me on Marshon Brooks is tiring.

The guy is pretty much at his ceiling. He did so well as a rookie, because he was already very polished. But don't mistake polish coming into the draft for upside. He could be a decent rotation player, but NBA teams aren't in the business of dealing future HOF centers for a 7 foot overrated stiff on a bad contract and a bad wheel, and a good role player on the wing.

Lets roll the dice already, anything we have now we can get at trade deadline anyways and if we clear some cap for next summer we can actually bring somebody in for Howard to re-sign for max money

No, I just didn't see why Dwight would give up hope of going there if Lopez signs. I was wondering if there was a rule that would cause him to immediately change his mind.

How long before ESPN and other media hacks pull the string again...and being making Twitter posts, and other random comments about how things look grim for a Magic-Nets deal? I can already really see the beginnings of yet another about-face.

And then in a week, the Nets will be back in it again! Yay!

+1 so Hennigan will settle for a two team trade where he gets less assets and still gets stuck with a maxed out brook lopez.

I call BS on that one.
