I Did NOT write this... This is NOT my Grammar... but it kind of makes sense!

they are going to trade dwight to the celtics.. garnett draft picks and maybe rondo.. garnett contract ends this year.. that free up cap space for orlando(which we having had since lewis was sign year back) and celtics can try to keep dwight there with paul pierce as a saling point. or its paul n garnet, draft picks for dwight. and rando is the saling point for howard to stay there. either way orlando would get a star (young or old) and clear 20 something million for the future with garnetts contract.

why would we trade for garnett's contract and picks when we could let dwights contract expire and get the same in cap relieve?

why would we trade for 2 washed up players in pierce and garnett? that would clear some cap space but come on, the center piece is a 35 year old pierce with 3 years left on his contract?

rondo would have to be involved

Pierce/Garnett is garbage... Rondo/Garnett is intriguing... I'm actually a huge fan of Rondo... Garnett is a 20mil expiring, Rondo is a young star to build around with 3 or 4 years left on his contract.... ship out Hedo and Duhon with Dwight for Rondo and Garnett. You get a star in return and you get rid of bad contracts.

Pierce/Garnett is garbage though... Pierce still has 2-3 years left on his deal... F that.

Me too...but I'd also hate to see him in a Lakers jersey too... or a Nets jersey  ... in fact any of those jerseys I'll be p*ssed

But Rondo is a great PG... he makes everyone look better... (ex: Glen Davis in Boston)... he'll make Ryan look even better... heck he'll make everybody on our team look better, he'll find them amazing open looks in half-court sets and in transition opportunities.

That's honestly the only legit star (Dwight) for star (Rondo) trade rumor I have heard involving Dwight. Lopez is garbage.

I would take Rondo and Garnett, maybe even Pierce instead. If we're trading Jameer to stay with Dwight in Boston, it'd make more sense to be Rondo/Garnett and prospects/picks. Rondo is a great player to build forward with. Not a franchise guy, but still, I'd do it. He's the best named player of any legit Dwight rumors.

Yea I know.. I was just being a smart ass.... I can't remember where i read this... I'll look for it. I have read 18 million blogs and rumor sites that my brain is numb

As for Dwight being in another uniform... If we can get something legit in return than it will only help me hate him more because he was the one who brought this upon himself and has messed up our franchise.

If we can get rid of him and not skip a beat while doing so it will be the ultimate F-U to Dwight (which is what i am all for)

I'd say keep Jameer as a back-up PG... good 6th man role... Jameer already doesn't play no more than 28mpg... and he's going to be 31 years old by next season. Dwight/Hedo/Duhon for Rondo/Garnett is better since you get rid of two bad contracts in Hedo and Duhon. Nelson will opt-in this season for the final year of his deal... then by the 2013 off-season his salary comes off the books.

I don't want Rondo, he'll be a horrible first option. There's a reason Celtics always shopping him. They know that as soon as the big three is gone, Rondo will struggle and he's not the type of player that can lead a team.

In fact i posted here a deal along this lines some weeks ago.

I dont remember exactly what i proposed, but was something like this, IIRC.

D12+Nelson+Duhon+Q for
KG+Rondo+Bradley+Jermaine (expiring too).

I found: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1149175&p=30142597

But now i noticed Glen cant be traded to Boston.

The Celtics are not going to trade their assets just to rent Dwight.

looks like the Boston/Dwight "blog" comment was a comment from a Boston fan named "dewayne" at the link/article I posted I page 69.

http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/03/0 ... -a-dwight/

yeah, no credibility there. it's not even his blog... it was a fan comment on an nba.com blog... and stupid one at that. :nonono:

I'd be sick if Dwight was traded to the d*** celtics... Rondo may be the best PG in the league, but you don't trade dwight to your sworn enemy...

Oh hell naww... Why would we trade for Dwight and get those crazy bad contracts in return? We're basically renting Dwight since we'd be unable to put stars ala Rondo or Deron (capspace dies with crap contracts) with him.

WE DO NOT WANT RONDO. Dont get me wrong Rondo is a great pg but he would not do well here. First he has attitude problems which is why Boston is trying to move him and he wont do well on a rebuilding team. Secondly he cant shoot which as he gets older and slower will be a real pit fall for him. he will still have great court vision but he wont get to the rim with his speed like he does now and his defense will decline, so what will that leave you with? A great passer. so what, draft kendall marshall and he could do that as a rookie. Also hes pretty inconsistent like meer and has recently been pretty injury prone. Rondo is a great hustler and team player but hes not who we want IMO

we're not getting Rondo... the whole rumor is a dud... it's not even legit... it was just a feedback comment from a clown Boston fan to some nba.com blog article... it wasn't even a legit standalone blog from the guy who made that comment... read my last post ^^^^^

move along folks, nothing to see here
