I don't consider it dumb. I can see why they want to keep him, just like I can see why we want to keep Howard. These players are hard to replace.

Sources say the Warriors are uninterested in a three-team trade that would send Ellis to Orlando in which they would shed the salary of Andris Biedrins.

Its just sad, Not even a three team trade because it would send Ellis to Orlando.....It must suck really bad to be a GSW fan. I mean they would end up moving Ellis and getting Bogut in either scenerio WHILE sheding Andris but they specifically wont do that because it will send Monta to Orlando. is the dude calling Otis and saying "Nanny nannny boo boo"? I mean wtf......

I don't believe the GS position of not trading Monta to Orlando is even remotely serious. Just a bargaining stance. They may not trade Ellis to Orlando, but it's not going to be because they would only do it for Dwight. People actually buy that GS's front office is putting their stance out on the internet? Why? In the end it's two guys picking up the phone and talking to each other. 2 guys that don't talk to the media often.

I mean, at this point it may be trying to position themselves to deal without Orlando, seeing if they can acquire Bogut on their own before resorting to dealing with 'the enemy'. They have to know they can't get Dwight, but it may be that they explore their other options before they commit to helping 'the enemy'. It really seems childish, but they have to hold out hope until they've tried everything to improve without helping us.

ellis is a 50 cent piece, but the warriors organization thinks hes a silver dollar, nobody else does, their demands for him over the years have been way to high, nothing wrong with that, they want a good return, but they have set the bar too high in their thinking
